May 28, 200917 yr I bought a santa a few days ago for about 13.8m. Now it's gone up to 14m (went up 110k today ) so I was thinking of maybe selling it at max and buying it back later when it drops. What do you think I should do and what how much do you think santa hats will rise to?
May 28, 200917 yr Sell it for mid. No one will but it for high, and i do not suggest buying it again as santas fluctuate a lot and you will probably make a loss in the end.

May 28, 200917 yr Sell it now, the price will not rise any more. If it does, it will drop back to where it is now/was yesterday. You are better off settling with the 110k.
May 29, 200917 yr If you plan on keeping it for a long time there isn't really any point in selling it because prices will continue to rise and fall

If you're not going for a permanent investment, you shouldn't do rares anyways... they are too unstable. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
May 29, 200917 yr heres the thing...if everyone sells for high, and everyone buys for high...then prices raise...however, even if ppl buy for high, but you sell for low or mid..prices fall... because of this, the buyers control market. Thats why merchant clans are successful, they get large amounts of ppl to buy for max, and prices rise...This is why dumping is often confused. Even if all the leaders dump their items, but for high...the prices will continue to rise...the thing is, once everyone else tries to dump...there is no lower level buying the items...so they are unable to sell their items. This causes panick, and thats how prices plumet. Sadly the game is played by kids, who do panick. If no one panicked when their items weren't sold, prices would be able to be manipulated by a greater amount. I don't blame merchant clans for taking advantages of Jagex's flawed system...I blame Jagex.
