Okay I got my strength cape i now want a fire cape, what is a good set-up for this mini game? ( with only a 3.5m gp budget )

Don't even attempt a run unless you mastered prayer switching and are completely sure you wont choke when the healers come out. Also memorize all the safespots. If you do that I guarantee you will have your cape first try. Search for videos on youtube and just practice along with the video until you are comfortable. Use broad bolts and diamonds bolts (e) to kill jad.

 

 

 

Also remember you have the option to lend an item from your friends or someone for the run instead of having to buy it yourself.

You shouldb e able to get through fight caves using only 10-15 pots or so, you don't need a SGS. Remember, getting to Jad is very easily with decent stats. It's killing Jad that matters (SGS plays no role here.) Skill > levels. As said before, learn how to defeat Jad first.

okay, tomorrow i'll watch a good bit of videos on how to kill jad, read through some guides then tuesday night i'll try the fight caves, im planning on using:

 

verac's helmet.

 

arama plate.

 

verac's skirt.

 

snake skin boots.

 

zammy stole.

 

accumulator.

 

blk d'hide vambs.

 

2 crystal bows.

 

 

 

2 to 4 ranged pots. (4)

 

4 to 6 saradomin brews. (4)

 

22 to 18 super restores. (4)

As simple as that. Only advices I have is not to expect to kill Jad in your first attempt, and when you do manage to get there, you're best off looking for him than the other way around (as some guides suggest you hide and wait for him).

 

I personally managed to get a cape on my 3rd and 4th runs, with the overall cost being about 30 prayer potions and some food - so don't exaggerate with your equipment and inventory either (again referring to certain guides blowing this thing out of proportion).
