Edit: Just spent 1/2 an hour trying to figure out why all the whitespace in a picture was being selected by the magic wand. Ended up tracing the whole image. Started on the left side, got all the way to the right side, and saw, at the very bottom, that the line wasn't closed. [bleep] my life. Seriously. <_<

My parents are technological buffoons, I swear. They somehow managed to, in Firefox, close down the main window I had up with all my tabs, and then open up ~20 new windows of hotel spam. God, I have to physically try to open up a new window. And they did it accidentally. Ergh. <_<

Try setting FireFox to open new windows in new tabs instead (tools > options > tabs > check the "open new windows in a new tab instead" box). It won't keep your parents from deleting all your tabs, but at least it'll make closing all their stuff easier for you.

 

 

EDIT: I also recommend updating FF to version 3.6.4 so that Flash and other plug-ins can't crash FF altogether (they run in their own process; I believe Chrome and, amazingly, IE already dis this).
