in the fanfic world, a ship is the shortened term for "relationship".. and supporting a ship.. means that you agree that the relationship between the two or more people is good and you want to see more of it. Usually this relationship consists sex. I say usually because sometimes it can be a sad love story.. or it could be an "unresolved sexual tension" story.. which is way more popular than you'd imagine and usually consists of the author trolling the reader by being a tease and leading them on with a story that looks as if lots of things will happen.. but in fact doesn't.. kinda like real life.. but those authors are still massive trolls.
