You see, I'm a Science/History nut. But I don't feel that English and math are a waste of time for me.

@dupin english is pretty important. there's something called communication. grammar is important. how you structure your sentences can cause misunderstandings.

dessert, desert. advice, advise.

words that sound alike. studying english literature like shakespeare is going one step above and applying the basics of grammar to communicate with the teacher your understanding of the play as well as actually making the teacher understand what you mean.

don't look down on it. if you can't understand a simple play or book, and you can't even communicate well... you'll have issues at work and with your family.

I know their uses. Like, I wouldn't be a math person without English. But yeah.

Anyway, this video's turnin' out nice. This should be fun. G'night guys.

My skin is finally getting soft
I'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

You should post it when you're finished Tyler.

All my bros are Science/Maths/Music bros, with a similar hate for English. I'm no music person myself, but yeah.

@ownage i disagree with dieing for your country for a pointless war.

i've thought this way from a very young age after i watched the movie 'a sound of music'.

in it, the captain's eldest daughter was in love with some young guy in the army. when nazi germany took over austria in the movie, and the family was in the nun's graveyard hiding, the captain/father held out his hand to the boy, smiled and said "you'd never be one of them" or something like that. this made the young boy dig in his heels and shout a warning. i've watched this scene carefully each time i watch the movie.

it's because i know what the nazi stood for. and i can see how a susceptable young man could be brainwashed...

and i've always viewed the government with a bit of suspicion... and it's why religious cults scare me a bit.

i don't see army people as stupid or anything. however, i don't think people should go into the army/navy/whatever unless they fully understand it'd be hard work, and they won't be able to leave for a while.

1. it isn't pointless. we're fighting an enemy who poses a threat to just about everybody in the world. Ask Israel, they deal with terrorism on a daily basis.

2. its easy to be brainwashed. that goes both ways.

3. I have no intention of dying. I plan on killing the other guys.

4. They don't really hide anything in the "getting in" process if you somehow miss that you're signing a contract for 4 years active and 4 years reserve you have to be screaming at the top of your lungs with your eyes closed.

Im going to agree with you here Wits.

The current war is pants on head [developmentally delayed]ed. America should have been what they should have with all the other conflicts such as Rwanda, Sudan, Somalia in the early 1990's, where we stayed out of it.

Sure it was sort of like a you hit me I'll hit you back situation with 9/11, but god dammit that was 10 years ago. We need to move one.

Then they just hit us again. They've already tried. Stamp out the problem now. If the rest of the world would get up off their ass and say, hey this is everyone's fight, we'd be much further along.

Also Rwanda was the UN's [bleep]up. In my opinion the UN is all but useless.

Ownage. We've grown so much from 9/11 in terms of our defenses to our entrances.

We're at a stalemate man. We aren't going anywhere in terms of defeating these [wagon]. Its such a god damn waste of resources we could use to further enhance our defenses.

We're at a stalemate because we allow ourselves to be. Have you seen the rules of engagement? These are literally some of them.

1. You cannot fire unless fired upon (Ok kinda makes sense)

2. You must give a village 24 hours notice before a raid (ok bad guys, we'll be here at noon tomorrow, clear out by then.)

3. No nighttime raids (We've got fancy night vision goggles but lets not use em)

4. If you see someone walking/running away from an IED you can't shoot at them.

Also consider our defenses like a computers.

We don't come up with things to combat new viruses before they are made, the viruses are made, and get into computers, do damage and THEN we come up with something to stop it.

Holy [cabbage]. I just realized that the Wet-Dry World theme is a remixed version of the Cave song thing from Super Mario Bros.

Man if Napoleon were still alive today, he would have had this war done in the first 6 MONTHS of 2001.

Makes me sad that there aren't these kinds of people around anymore.
