MN gets humidity. We have four distinct seasons, which is great. This winter has been overactive, spring will have flooding, but summer will be great. Bright sun and plenty of heat. Fall is so crisp and nice, fall smells the nicest.

In Pennsylvania we have 2 seasons. Pothole season, and construction season.

In Maine we have Tourist/straphanger season, leaf peeper season, god dammit it's cold season, and mud season.

I just want to go tell my friend's parents to tell her to go live with her boyfriend's family. Just take back her car and whatever else they've given her and send her off. She is acting like a spoiled brat, getting mad because her parents aren't giving her what she wants and her boyfriend's family apparently is. Don't you think it'd hurt your family's feelings if you wrote on Facebook where they could see that you feel like you're more of a part of your 17 year old boyfriend of two months' family? Seriously, they're being reasonable. And they need and appreciate her. She just needs to look in the right places. What an ego she has.

Let her do as she wishes. She will hurt some people, realize it when it's too late, and learn the lesson and feel misserable for some time. Then when she's about to say something as idiotic as that, she will think twice.

I'm gonna find some sort of sick satisfaction in being right in the end. Except I'll say that now and then feel bad when she's miserable. Because I always do. But maybe not this time. I feel right.

Forgot to tell you guys. Today "The Russian"'s mom came in and told us about living in and growing up in Soviet Russia. her accent was awesome and she had cool stuff like soviet shoulder boards, and the stuff they have on their hats, and a freaking mammoth tusk. Not a full one but I kid you not a mammoth tusk. Apparently when the permafrost semi-thaws that kinda [cabbage] gets pushed up.
