it's funny because i was SO close to seeing btbam live with elknight/jaerkd00d. but i didn't have much interest in them then. he went to the concert, i didn't. i regret this so much.

 

then they came a few months later and i didn't go to that either or i would have failed band class probably. and they were opening for mastodon, too. they better come back, damn.

You just listed 3 of my top 5 favorite bands. seriously.

 

I saw animals as leaders in february when they opened for underoath. they were great. very professional, solid playing, etc. too bad barely anyone knew who they were, but everyone seemed really impressed.

 

The Human Abstract was supposed to come here Saturday, and I was going to go with my friend. But then someone connected to the band died or something and they had to cancel the rest of the tour. I was pretttty upset. But I'm seeing a different concert Friday

 

Protest the Hero is probably my number 2 favorite band of all time, I love them so much. I'm wearing a PTH shirt right now. I've never seen them live, but I sure as hell hope I do eventually. I don't think they've come to my city before though.

 

Heh, that's cool. Very cool. You're lucky though. AFAIK none of them have come to aus, either that or I just missed out. Yeah I enjoy listening to all of them. Too bad only a few of my friends like them, so even if they do play some shows here I don't want to be that guy.

Yeah I just drag my friends along. And yeah THA would have come here this Saturday, 3 days from now.

 

My other 2 favorite bands would be The Fall of Troy and maybe BTBAM. I really would have a hard time making a definitive top 5 list.
