Seizures themselves are virtually harmless, but if you have a lot you can get brain damage from them.

 

When she has a seizure try and push her to her side like in a fetal position and make sure there's nothing blocking the airway. A pillow could be useful to rest her head and make sure there's nothing in the way, such as a table or any solid object.
