I always feel really down when a semester first starts. I don't really make friends easily, mostly because I prefer to just fly solo, and I really really REALLY like the internet and vidya games and such so I end up spending most of the time just sitting around in my dorm playing games and surfing. I'm not really a fan of intramural sports, I tried a Frisbee league once but it was full of guys who took it so seriously and were uber competitive. I feel pressured into going out and doing extra curricular stuff, even though I really don't want to, just because that's the norm and that's what most people think of when they think of college. I'd rather just do my own thing, but I see everyone around me doing the complete opposite of what I'm doing and it makes me second guess myself.

The last one? Yeah. Any idea on how long the show is? I suspect it might be 11-13, because of the new ED, but I seriously hope it isn't. Doesn't seem like it will have satisfying ending after being wrapped up so quickly.

I know that feel, minus the extra curricular stuff. Normally, if I just go to classes I don't talk with anyone before 'cause I don't know anyone and I'm hardly the kind of person who just starts small chat. But the thing about architecture is that you're forced into groups in most assignatures, big groups, so just from 2 assignatures I have like 14 acquaintances, and working to friends from there is easy.

I've been to multiple schools when growing up, so I've dealt with the not knowing many people.

Now I make friends easily, then steadily change to better ones.

What's everyone doing besides lurking?
