Has anyone heard about schools going to a 4 day week?

 

This won't really make much of a difference. Will just extend the school year, and procrastinators will procastinate.

 

Educationally-wise.

They said it would save schools money and what not, and then after a few years, they would be able to give back to students and what not.

Would be nice to have schools actually be able to afford shit.

And I used to be super blonde, but my hair darkened through time.

Also, I think my hair has turned to a lighter shade of brown, as the years passed. But people still think it's black.

I've never had A day and B day, have friends that have/had it.

And with shortening to 4 days, they would make the day longer to7:50 to 4-4:30 max.

Don't really care cause I don't do much after school, next year I'm gunna do football again, with games they would move them to Friday or some shit, then I would just get a ride.

Yeah, I remember in Grade 7 I was super blonde, now my hair is much darker.

Each class would be 11 minutes longer, and school would end earlier then the other times.

Not as bad as it seems.

And my hair is sandy blonde now.

Would workload get heavier?

For now people are just agreeing to get Friday off, but if it helps the school then I would go with 4 days.

A few friends of mine go to full year schools. Every thing is the same, 5 day week, same times, etc. But there is no summer vacation. Every two months there's a two week vacation.

 

I actually prefer the idea of a full year school.

I could go to a full year school, that would be McMaster. Basically you graduate medical school in 3 years instead of 4 because there's no summer break.

I would feel... blaaarghgargl if I never ever got any break from homework. You just KNOW they would assign homework over those breaks.

My school is 8:15 to 2:20 here.

2 out of those 9 hours, school is over.

It would be 9 full hours of school, then extra curricular activities. That means some kids would be going home at 9pm, if there isn't a work around with their sports, clubs, whatever.
