People who lose the flag in castlewars.

Featured Replies

In order to give my team a better chance of winning I use a castlewars brace, barrows armour, and ice barrage. I consider myself an excellent Castlewarrior, and try to help my team as much as reasonably possible with my stats and equipment. While I do not expect people to put as much money into the minigame as I do, I do expect them to atleast play with some kind of logical thought process. Do not run out chasing the enemy flag as soon as the game starts without grabbing atleast 4 healing kits, or you won't have the energy to get back. If the enemy team lets you in and encourages you to get the flag, it's not because they like you, they want to kill you and take their own flag. If you're in a granite platebody and dragon skirt, and every floor is bristling with whips, godswords, and ancient staffs, don't take the flag. If you get the flag to the ground floor and clearly do not have the levels or supplies required to make it back to your base, don't leave the building. Taking the underground tunnel does not make you invisible, it means you'll make it to the central ladders before getting killed. If you encounter a barricade, don't whine about how stupid they are, whine about how stupid you are for not grabbing a tinderbox and some explosives.

THINK BEFORE YOU MAKE THE ENTIRE TEAM LOSE.

After 5 years, you get used to it. Just remember its about fun, not trying to power your way to gold cw armor to look "pro" like rsw.

It's only fun if I win though. And my first account was made in 2004 ;).

If you only find something fun if you win, then stop gaming.

Frankly, without the possiblity of losing, there is no fun, and you cannot learn from istakes.

If someone lower leveled wants to attempt to take the flag, they have just as much right as someone with maxed melee stats. They may not make it, no. You may loose the game, but it doesn't matter, the rewards are pointless and there are no advantages to winning except extra tickets.

I have no problem with losing because the other team was organized and played with a better strategy. I hate losing because some inept moron thinks he has a chance of scoring a point.

The rewards are pointless? They are symbols of dedication and an interest in playing Castlewars, just like skillcapes show your prowness in a skill. Excuse me for trying to do something I enjoy, I guess I should alch my golden decorative shield then go grind my skills, since they have practical aplications . Castlewars is a team game, and players should try to help their team. Making everyone else suffer just for the kicks and giggles of wasting their time is no way to play a game.

Solution: A CW clan

Castle War clans (most i've seen) turn it into a business. they think they OWN Castle Wars (not kill-own, purchase-own) just because they have "The Elite Gear" usually involving maging in Armadyl (idiots) and very pricy shields (spirit shields), and are determine to insult the crap out of you if you actully USE logic and mage....IN ROBES.

They do have the right to do so, but if they are going for the flag then you can make the assumption that their intentions are to win the game. Which provides the greatest chance of winning? A level 80 with granite grabbing the flag or a level 120 with barrows?

The main reason my old main was only level 60 after 3 years was because of castle wars lol. True there weren't any godswords or dragon claws but i was still super good lol good times. I doubt i have made my entire team lose that much

when i play c-wars (zamorak ftw), i ofen find level 3 players useing a ring of stone just so he can do nuthing but take up space and look on as his team gets owned.

just how people are like, start, take bandages? naaa, run and run, out of run (if your lucky to live that long), die, and repeat...

is there any point to this? one should ask them self.

i wish at least for one game, one single game, i could get my team to work as a team (can it even be done?!).

it probably cant becouse the state of mind of most people is allways:

high levels, only player here who knows how to play this game comeing! (although this is sometimes true -.- ) gota get flag becouse no one else should.

medium levels, gots get flag!! hmm im dead again..., gota get flagg!!!! (all the wile doing nuithing but geting and droping the flag)

low levels, yay here i come, *whoosh* 1hit .

yes, this is not allways the case, people have been smart and helpfull. you may as wel be asking zamorak to let saradomin team win if you thing this will hapen ofen.

simply beocuse its every player for them self with no reguard for the team, stratergy, or where the flag is when thay die.
