June 6, 200917 yr At 56 Smithing, what would be the best method of making items to get to 60 Smithing? I want 60 Smithing without losing much money, and at a pretty fast rate of leveling. Thanks for you time.
June 6, 200917 yr You could try making cannonballs.Yes, it is somewhat slow but you make money and you don't have to fully focus on the computer screen. You could make iron nails and sell them at the sawmill( I believe you break even).
June 6, 200917 yr 25xp/bar. 15 nails/bar. 16*14=224(that's how much you get for the nails, if you sell them at the sawmill). You lose 15gp/iron bar if you buy them at the med price in ge(239 gps). 15 gps lost for 25 xp.
June 6, 200917 yr Steel Arrowheads aren't too bad, you lose ~120 each and they're faster than iron nails since they sell mid in the Grand Exchange. Just an alternative.
June 6, 200917 yr Author Well I'm looking for more of a faster method, I know I will lose a bit, but I don't want to lose too much of my precious money. #-o. So I'm trying to find a Quick, Easy, and not costing too much to get 60.
June 6, 200917 yr no such thing as a quick + cheap + easy way cannon balls for cheapness steel arrowtips for cheap + quicker iron nails are the cheaper and faster than cannon balls ]
June 6, 200917 yr you could go superheating? you only make a small loss with mith bars and you get mage xp
June 6, 200917 yr Author you could go superheating? you only make a small loss with mith bars and you get mage xp What are the requirements for superheating Mithril bars?
June 6, 200917 yr Author Use sacred clay hammers for faster exp and lesser costs. Oh, thanks, I forgot about that, but I am thinking about doing superheat. I also forgot about super heat. Thanks for reminding me about the hammers.
June 6, 200917 yr When I went from 54 to 60, I used a combination of cannonballs and Stealing Creation hammers to maximize XP and to make sure that I broke even. June 7, 200917 yr I suppose you can try gold bars from gold ores. Yes it is a tiny bit costly but when I went for 60 smithing it was honestly quite fast using the Neitiznot furnace. June 7, 200917 yr The Neitiznot furnace requires access to... well, the Island of Neitiznot, of course. :) If you're done, or at least have done up to the part in Fremmenik Isles where you go to Neitiznot, you already have access to it.
