manitstinks
You can use a bunyip with no food or fighting familiar with several monks Really easy task but I cancel them because its so boring and no cannon for me
Cptbaker08
You can also try killing them in the Chaos Tunnels. Be warned that you MUST use Protect from Missiles or else you will die. It happened to me before, but that was due to me lagging and not making it back in time. Other wise wearing Good prayer boosting armor and a good combat familiar and it is a nice task. You can make most of the money back with the drops of circular hides and the special helms. And the alchs of the shields and regular fremmy helms and that also add up. Blutters
They're my favorite task, but only because you can usually Cannon them in less than 15-20 minutes. If you're absolutely dead-set against cannoning then go with what Captain Baker said.
Bassy
I like to melee them. Whip with whatever left-hand item you like works quite well with good armor. I can last an entire task under the lighthouse with just the occasional SGS spec if they somehow hit me down to 60hp or so. I recommend bringing a Bunyip, but Guthans works too. Danqazmlp
If you arent cannoning, i'd say you MUST do them in the CT. It's incredibly bad to melee them in the ligthouse, the kills will be slower due to less of them and crowded-ness (is that even a word?), you make less money, you get less charm drops, the task will take longer. Wear prayer/melee gear, i usually wear prossy top and bottom, then try maximising my str/att bonuses after that, because theres no need for extra prayer bonus on top of prossy. Take 10 prayer potions (you will use around 5, but its better safe than sorry?) Alchs, and a few pure sets. Use ranged def prayer, and 10% str prayer. Bring a fighting familiar or two aswell, this is a place that they really can help. Pick up fremmy blades, freammy shields, fremmy helms, and alch them, pick up and sell circular hides, spined boots and the high value fremmy helms (zerker, warrior etc) on the g.e. Thats pretty much it. Want to be my friend? Zaaps1
I don't see why you WOULDN'T cannon. Cannoning makes the task a 20 minuter. Regular melee makes it well over an hour. If there's only one task you cannon out of every single slayer task in the game, it should be dagannoths. Lighthouse ones are generally considered the best xp, although if you don't cannon you can kill the ones in the CTs for better drops. You can also kill the Dagannoth kings, since they count. Melee xp in the lighthouse is roughly 55-60k, depending on your stats. I'm not sure about the CT method's experience. ~It's Super Effective! deathdrow
well I wouldn't cannon because I don't have one, I should probably get one though. I'm gonna try them in the CT. thanks for the help.
