gorgoroth
Well i'm not too far off my current goal of 99 Attack. After this i which to get 99 Ranged using a method which is both a fast-ish way of gaining Exp and Money. Two options come to mind. Aviansies and Green Dragons. Aviansies. Avg. Hp - 76 Avg. Exp per Kill - 304 Avg. Money per drop - 3 300gp (Assuming you get 1 Adamantite Bar per kill aswell as 1k worth of Alchables every drop). Aviansies needed for 99 Ranged - 14 050 Total gp gained - 14 050 * 3 300 = 46 365 000 On avg. i will use 1 B2P Tab for every 16 Kills. That mean i will use a total of 879 B2P tabs(lets just say 900 to be safe).I will lose about 4 Black Knives per Kill which means i will need about 56 200 Black Knives. I also estimate Alch Runes for every 5th Kill which means ill need 2810 Nature Runes[lets say 2850 to be safe)[Assuming i use a Staff of Fire]. 900 * 1170 = 1 053 000gp for B2P Tabs 56 200 * 65 = 3 653 000gp for Black Knives 2850 * 240 = 684 000 gp for Nature Runes Total cost - 1 053 000 + 3 653 000 + 648 000 = 5 354 000gp Estimated Profit of 99 Ranged - 46 365 000 - 5 354 000 = 41 011 000 **I can buy all the needed supplies beforehand and camp there the entire time without once having to leave the cave. I estimate 1 kill every 25 seconds which means it will take me a total of 98 hours. Green Dragons. Hp - 79 Exp per Kill - 316 Avg Money per drop - 2 370(Dragon Bone) + 1 695(Green Dragonhide) = 4 065 (This excludes the Ranarrs and Nature Runes i usually pick up) Green Dragons needed for 99 Ranged - 13 500 Total gp gained - 13 500 * 4 065 = 54 877 500 I will get 21 Hides and Bones on Avg. per trip which means i will do a total of 643 trips (Lets say 645 to be safe). Each trip i will use 1 Monk fish, 2 doses od Antifire Potion and 2 doses of Ranging Potion ( I will need a total of 323 Ranging and Antifire Potions). I will use a new War Tortoise every 3 Trips(a 215 War Tortoises) total of aswell as take 1 dose of Summoning Potion (a total of 54 Summoning Potions). 1 Games necklace will last me 8 trips(a total of 1688 Games Necklaces, lets say 1690 to be safe). Lets also say use 4 Black Knives per Dragon meaning i will need 54 000 Black Knives. 645 * 365 = 235 425gp for Monkfish. 323 * 1930 = 623 390gp for Ranging Potions. 323 * 985 = 318 115gp for Antifire Potions. 215 * 5 910 = 1 270 650gp for War Tortoises. 54 * 2110 = 113 940gp for Summoning Potions. 1690 * 1100 = 1 859 000gp for Games Necklaces. 54 000 * 65 = 3 510 000gp for Black Knives. Total cost - 235 425 + 623 390 + 318 115 + 1 270 650 + 113 940 + 1 859 000 + 3 510 000 = 7 930 520. Estimated Profit of 99 Ranged - 54 877 500 - 7 930 520 = 46 946 980 **I should be able to kill one Dragon every 30 seconds (this includes the time taken for banking and assuming none of my kills are stolen.) which means its going to take me a total of 113 hours to reach 99 Ranged. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So based on this information (assuming it is anywhere near correct), which would be the better option? More money? Or less time? Which would you choose? Is there any fault to my calculations? Does all of this seem right? Thanks in advance. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
pulli23
Well it's ~5M money in ~5H, so I would go for the "more money" option: however I doubt you can kill a green dragon in 30 seconds (and also bank quickly to get this average). First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. gorgoroth
Well it's ~5M money in ~5H, so I would go for the "more money" option: however I doubt you can kill a green dragon in 30 seconds (and also bank quickly to get this average). I think with Black Knives i hit 10 on avg. This means that i can kill a Dragon in 8 hits. Throw in 8 0's and its 16 hits on avg. per Dragon. With Black Knives i think you get 1 hit every 0.45 second or so. That means 35 seconds per kill more or less 10 seconds. So yeah maybe not 30 seconds per kill, maybe more something like 40 seconds per kill if you include time for Banking. So 0.40 * 13 500 = 150 hours. So its a 52 hour difference. But Aviansies are based mostely on luck. Green Dragons have an assured 4k drop per kill. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
Dire_Wolf
Avansies. They are easy to deal with for a ranger.
Cptbaker08
Avansies. They are easy to deal with for a ranger. I'd have to agree with him. I also like the idea of being able to camp there for numerous amounts of time without having to bank. With green dragons i find banking to get some what annoying. One thing you can do tho is try praying them, using 15% range and teleport to your house and restore prayer there. Teleport to Edge and go back to killing them. Idk but are you safe-spotting them or are you tanking them? Thing with Aviansies is that i loose out on a potential 1mil - 3mil with all the Herbs i don't pick up. And these days Aviansies are very crowded. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
