Of course, I don't know what your probelm is, but just from taking a stab at the dark i'd say get quicktime (might need it for some) and flash plugins. Just a guess.

If the extension is .mov download Quicktime from Apple.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If the extension is .swf download the Flash Plugin from Macromedia.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If the extension is .avi or .mpg download GSpot from http://www.headbands.com/gspot/download.html

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Run Gspot with the file and it'll tell you what codecs you need, take a screenshot or tell us what codecs you need, and we can point you in the right direction.
