You do realise that an inventory of lobsters every 10 minutes makes about 20kexp and 42kgp an hour?

 

 

 

that's not TOO bad, considering if you fish for 3 hours a day, that's 60kexp and 126k gold, that's 420kexp and 882k gold in a week.

 

 

 

I admit, for cash that's a bit slow, I advise you kill ankous for cash, you get some decent melee training done especially if you've got a salve amulet. (~150-250kgp with ~50-120kexp and hour depending on how crowded it is and your combat level)

I like Fishing cause I can watch South Park while training the skill. Otherwise yeah, not the greatest skill.

Aye, fishing isn't the most efficient money maker.

 

 

 

But thats not the point of fishing. The redeeming quality is the amount of effort you put in per gp earned. As a previous poster stated you can literally read a book or watch a movie while your character grinds monks/sharks.

 

 

 

Sure you can say the same about merchanting but there's always the chance you lose money. With the removal of river trolls you have 0% chance of losing anything while fishing.

 

 

 

To the OP, at level 69 you should move to monkfish and also multitask! No point just staring at the screen waiting for the fish to come in when you could at least be browsing the forums. Trust me makes the time go much faster.

Multi-task indeed, You should seriously consider chain farming ranarr herbs (with super compost) while you fish, it will increase your profits significantly. (every round of rannars takes 75 minutes)

I have 98 fish and I can get around 200k an hour fishing shark with current prices. Not that I bother as there are better methods of making gp.

Yea, considering you can make almost better money with 50 50 GOP with no concentration at all.
