^Another thing it does sometimes.

Edit btw it mainly happens with mousekeys. And the main thing that annouys me is that it pops up the rs sreen to the top and left.

I used to get this too, whenever I had a few graphically heavy things open (RuneScape, Photoshop, Movie...). I think it may be on of the incredibly annoying aspects of Vista.

To fix it, just hit Ctrl + Alt +Del, open Task Manager, go to the Processes tab and end the process dwm[Caution: Executable File].

If it does not restart automatically, go to the Applications tab, hit the New Task button and just type dwm[Caution: Executable File] and hit enter. ;)

Wow ty ima try that hope it works :)

Killing explorer[Caution: Executable File] fixes similar problems on XP. :P Let's hope Windows 7 doesn't have these sorts of issues.

  • Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.
  • Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.

Weird, I never had that problem and I have Vista too and sometimes have quite a lot of programs running at the same time.

I agree on the explorer[Caution: Executable File] killing and using the task manager, to make it run again, solved some of my problems on XP.
