June 17, 200917 yr It should be, but it all depends on how fast this dial-up is. Try this and report back.

June 18, 200917 yr You won't lag any more on HD than you would on SD. All the data for the HD graphics is cached (stored) on your computer, there is no extra network activity involved with HD versus SD. I really can't fathom that this isn't common knowledge. Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.

Well, it's one of the most misconceived facts in the RuneScape community...Ah, so turning on anti-aliasing lighting effects, etc, is only taxing on your browser/GPU? Sometimes I would get still-framed when turning up all of those features in crowded areas, so I just turned them off because I figured it was taxing my network.
June 18, 200917 yr Yeah it only eats your cpu/gpu. Twitter ||| Google+ ||| Facebook ||| LinkedIn ||| My very interesting weblog about science
June 18, 200917 yr You are both correct. A simple way to tell which is lagging: if the screen is FROZEN, your CPU/GPU is lagging. If nothing is moving but you can still see the animations moving and such (like your character 'vibrating' slowly or whatever you want to call it), it's network lag. Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.
