Saradomin sword or a Zamorakian spear-- ss is better, but both of them are inferior to the whip

- No, Dragon Boots are much better.

- Seers Ring became a lot cheaper. I rarely mage, yet I still bought it. Your choice if you want.

- I say yes. (if you have the money)

- I'd say stick with Legends, but that's just me. (Try getting Skill cape or Fire cape)

- Skirt most definitely for Slayer. Whole Set if you like doing other stuff. (I rarely use my set anymore)

 

 

 

Guthix cloak

 

- I don't think it's worth it.

- If you plan on purely training Strength, get the SS. If not, Zammy Spear serves as a good alternative. I have it and use it on Waterfiends.

- Worth it if you range. But the way pages are priced now, bleh. Get if you want, I got mine when the pages were worth 200k ea. \

Verac's is great for player vs player such as clan wars otherwise not realy. As for the skirt I'd stick with torag or dharoks legs.

Saradomin sword is good for training str but I don't see it worth that 6M. Zam spear is only good for corp and waterfiends so no. I'd stick with whip.

Get the full set. The skirt is great for melee training and the skirt+helm are excellent for ranging GWD and barrows. The flail and brassard are inexpencive and have some uses.

 

 

 

Guthix cloak

 

If you're praying, definitely use the guthix cloak. The loss of defence (-6 each I think?) compared to the obsidian cloak is nothing compared to its +3 prayer. If you use offencive prayers while slaying or training, a god cloak is easily a better choice. Once you get a firecape or a trimmed skillcape sell it though.

Zamorakian spear is only good for waterfiends (crush) and killing the Corporal beast (stab). SS is good for strength training and waterfiends (crush). Whip and rune defender out preforms both in most situations.

Best offencive shield for ranging, and a nice prayer bonus, get it. Use a rune defender for melee though.

For general combat, you'll just want the skirt. For boss monsters/range tanking, you'll want the helm as well. Outside of PvP, there aren't many uses for the set.
