Help with Herblore

Featured Replies

Ok i just started doing herb lore but i got some questions about it:

1) I just made a ton of attack potions to level up but they were only attack (3) potions insted of attack (4), why is this? i know you can combine the potions to make it 4 dosses but how do i make it 4 dosses from the begining?

2) I know herb lore is costs a lot if you buy all the herbs, but can you tell me which potions won't sell on the ge, as i am leveling up so i do not waste herbs?

3) what is the most profitable potion to make?

1) I just made a ton of attack potions to level up but they were only attack (3) potions insted of attack (4), why is this? i know you can combine the potions to make it 4 dosses but how do i make it 4 dosses from the begining? sorry all potions are (3)s when u make them

2) I know herb lore is costs a lot if you buy all the herbs, but can you tell me which potions won't sell on the ge, as i am leveling up so i do not waste herbs? well herblore is cheaper if you farm them, but if you are buying them i would say you are gonna have to test it out yourself, they dont seem to fluctuate very much, good luck with this

3) what is the most profitable potion to make? for the time beeing herblore isnt very proffitable, the best bet would be prayer postions (once you get there), it kinda answers the last two questions. you may loose, but youll be able to sell em quickly, id guess

sorry if it is not helpful

1)It's like that

2)Any can change in a short time cuz of merchanting clans

3)No potion is profitable - that way, herblore can make money  and that isn't going to happen

P.S. It's herblore not herb lore

1) Impossibe, the way I think about it is the herb absorbs some of the water when it's mixed in, but potions are always made as (3)

2) Serum 203(4?) and most low level potions, the best you could try making that can sell is anti-poisens and then strength pots.

3) The potion that loses the least amount of money is the pray pot, unless you gather all of the ingredients yourself you will lose money, (Btw pray still wins even when you gather all ingredients yourself).

The easiest way to level herblore and not lose money is to buy grimy herbs on the G.E., clean them and sell them back. You should do no less than break even. if you time your buy and sell properly, you will make money.
