If you firemake somewhat well at the Grand Exchange, your minimum amount of logs per hour will be around 1100 (MINIMUM). What type of logs and do you have the Ring of Fire + Flame Gloves option checked? For me I'd need around 40k maple logs to get 92 firemaking, no way he'd need only 17k logs with 79 firemaking.
