They just stay in your bank, as member objects.

Get placeholders and don't withdraw all at anytime you're f2p.You won't be able to deposit anything else but if you have placeholders, you can.

You will be able to remove the items but then you won't be able to put them back in the bank untill you reach the f2p limit of items.

 

This doesn't apply to items that are stacked like gp. Aslong as you leave 1 of the most used items like: 1gp, 1 rune pickaxe, 1 rune axe, etc... in the bank you will be able to store more of that item.

 

 

 

I think there is a guide for p2p going f2p in the archive of wisdom, i'll have a look and post the link if i find it.

They'll remain in your bank and will be called "member's object". You can't use them or sell them on The Grand Exchange, so it's best to keep them in your bank.

 

 

 

Also, if you're about to become a non-member make sure to put more than one of all the F2P items you'll use in your bank. This way you'll be able to bank your f2p items even if you don't technichally have enough bank space.

They become members objects that cannot be used. You cannot have extra space to compensate for them. In addition, you can't drop members items so the only way to reclaim your inventory/bank freedom is to resubscribe.
