im wanting 55-80 smithing, seeing as its low and i want 80 in most skills

 

but im only wanting the budget to be 4m and under, what do u suggest i make thats still at least 30-40k exp/hour and not lose much? thank you.

You should smelt cannonballs for a while using steel bars. Powertraining smithing is usually done with gold ore and family crest gloves, but it's quite expensive. I recommend calculating how much of each you should do to break even.

I believe smithing Iron Nails is decently fast and profits...

It's not so bad, you lose 14 gp per bar (which pales compared to what you lose on higher level bars).

 

 

 

You could also get sc hammers and make the highest level platebody you can.

Buy mithril ore

 

buy 2 coal for each mithril ore :D

 

(aka 1000 mith=2000 coal)

 

go to blast furnace

 

bring a lot of money

 

and do that

 

make mithril bars

 

and smelt into mithril bolts (unf)

 

you will make 50 gold profit PER bar

i did that from 60-74 (almost 75 yaya :D)

You'll profit a lot more by banking your bars after smelting at the blast furnace, instead of staying there to smith into bolts, because you pay an extra 81 coins per bar in unnoting fees for each bar. And staying down there really isn't a whole lot faster than banking in between, if you know what you're doing. Putting your house in Taverley will get you very close to the cart to Keldagrim with a simple house teletab. You can smelt 600 bars per hour this way, and put the extra profits towards faster methods, like smithing plates.

Find a balance between smelting cannonballs or steel bars to make money and then spending it on something like goldsmithing.

I'm about to do Mithril bolts, buy just buying the bars. You will lose money, but thats the method that will lose you the least.
