Some advice on Money-Making and XP?

I know my postcount is EXTREMELY low but thats cause I can't remember the pass of my previous account here...it was subscribed on a really old email addy which I dont use anymore so I figured I'd create a new one.

 

 

 

Anyway, on topic, my stats are in my signature (The ones that made it to high-scores). I was wondering:

 

 

 

1. What would be the skill that I should use to rake in money? If possible, please tell me how much money/hour this would get me.

 

 

 

2. Which skill should I raise and why? My range is 44 and farming is 28.

just train slayer while farming herbs (ranarrs at 32)

Range is helpful for drags and such at higher levels, train it then kill Green/Blue drags.

Thanks for that reply! When farming herbs, should I worry about allotments and stuff, or should I just do Ranarrs and Limpwurts? Also, if i log off at night with a herb growing and log back in 8-10 hrs later, will that herb die?

Thanks for that. Currently, I safespot the Blue Drag underneath Heroes Guild with a halberd. Money is decent but not much combat xp gained. If I do train range (currently at 40) who should i train it on?

ummm use 3 patches, cabbage patch, fishing guild, and catherby. i aveage 5-7 herbs without magic secatures or whatever. my profit per day really depnds on how much i do the runs...i coul do 1 run a day or 5 i jsut depends but i make about 30-60k per run in profi off of 3 paches

Because everyone knows exactly which task you will get and which order they will come into to make an exact or close estimate of how much you will earn per hour.

 

Though farming herbs is good.

 

 

 

If you ever grind a bank skill then farm atleast 1 patch. I say Marigolds for flowers.

the are good right at 32. unlike other skills i dont think higher farming levels yield better crops

Thanks RayOxide. I guess what I was trying to say is that I will use the Herb Patches, but not necessarily the Allotment Patches beside them. I just find that for the Allotments, a lot of time goes into watering them and such.

 

 

 

With supercompost, do you have to check the herbs often for diseases?

No you dont need to check at all. As long as its supercompost I think the chances of a herb patch dying are 10% or lower.

Lol, this quote thread is getting long but yeah, I'll probably do that. Thanks guys, looks like I am gonna go with Farming. Now I just gotta get my farming upto 32. Shouldnt take too long, i think ill farm harralanders.

 

 

 

And I'll probably keep doing slayer to up my combat. Dont think Itll give me too much money though. I have a good stash in MTK and will up fishing to sharks although I know they are slow.

Can't remember what I did, try minotaurs until 50? At 50 I did mossies.

Ectofial - Canafis Farm Patch

 

Explorer Ring 3/Glory - Falador Patch (South of Falador)

 

Ardougne Tele/ Teleport to Fishing Guild (Lunar or Skills Necklace) - Ardougne Patch

 

Camelot Teleport/Catherby Teleport (Lunar) - Catherby Patch

 

Trollheim Tele - My Arm's Patch

 

 

 

These are the 5 patches for herbs, and the quickest way to get there. Always use super compost on all patches, and use maicg secs to get a little more. About 1:10 herb seeds die, but you still will profit once you're done farming.

 

 

 

As for the range training you can kill Moss Giants. They'll drop seeds that you can either use or sell. They're also plenty of places to kill them at.
