____
We've bounced back from situations like this before. We just have to play it cool and not take any big risks going for runs. We've all seen the effects of that all too much during the last 4 games :x
Hukaideez
Looks like it's getting set up for a tight conclusion. This series has been so gripping it deserves a real grandstand finish. Congragulations to both teams for a great series of cricket.

Doesn't matter who wins, I doubt anyone will be forgetting this series for a long time :D No doubt about it, this is one of the best cricket series ever. It will either be remembered as the series that England won the Ashes back or one of the greatest recoveries by the Australians. Either way it's helped put cricket back onto the sporting radar which can only be good news.

Mercifull
Australia for the win. I will be disappointed if they don't. Wanna put money on that? :P England lead by 234 runs after 65.0 overs with 7 wickets down. Oh yeah and its almost 4pm :P Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. Phil
I find it funny that before England were winning, everyone hated cricket (because it's so boring) but when they start to win the whole country is cricket mad. I honestly say that cricket is one of the most boring sports to watch for me. Why am I forced to listen or watch to England playing cricket when I'm not in England and I hate cricket? I turn on the TV and people are talking about it, it's the main headlines on the news, they talk about it every 5 minutes on the radio and when I open the paper it's all about England and cricket. The only time the country goes cricket mad is when they are winning for once. I can't wait till this is over so I don't have to hear anymore about it :P It's kinda like when England won in the rugby. People support the team for a couple of matches then forget all about it after.

assassin_696
Nice work England!! :D We really deserved this one, and rightfully got it, nice work the entire England team, and congratulations to Flintoff for getting the Aussies man of the series. Nice work Austrailia though, you made this series what it was :) "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

It probably didn't help that England's form went downhill after the World Cup and after that Lion's Tour wouldn't you be disenfranchised with the sport. Congragulations to the English for winning the Ashes although their leading runscorer has a nice South African accent and one of the star bowlers speaks with a Welsh accent. And who can forget the Papua New Guinea and Welsh connection of the Wicketkeeper.
