RayOxide
On an XP base, is the Hunters Crossbow useful at say 85 range? Dhide armour and all, with the normal Kebbit bolts. I ask this because I find it looks better, and it may be worth a try. I dont really like the look of the rune crossbow with my armour  XP rates per hour with the Hunters Cbow and Kebbit bolts (along with Broad Bolts and a Rune Cbow) would be nice if you guys know it. Perakp
I thought they were designed for low lvl players (50-70 maybe). I've used them a bit and it wasn't too great, especially now that there are broad bolts. Don't try to get the bolts yourself, it's slow & pointless. Buy a few hundred off the ge and try them for yourself, shouldn't take long before you know if they work for you or not.
Lets_3ekout
I don't know xp rates, I never could be bothered counting them, but normal bolts aren't very good. The long bolts *were* good when you could leave an offer of ~30gp ea overnight and come back to find 10k+ bolts sitting in GE (slightly exagerated, it could take longer depending on time/luck). Now they're both expensive and I assume hard to buy. Using normal bolts was roughly the same as a msb with mith-addy bolts. Long bolts were rune+. Those were fun times training with long bolts.
