So can u guys help give me some training tips like what to train on, where to train etc. Thank you! In other words: We got a ban hammer in varrock mines. It's jackin yo [censor] bots, slappin yo macros up, tryna ban em, so ya'll need to hide yo scripts, hide yo clicks, and hide yo logs cause they bannin errbody up in here. The correct level to switch to monkfish is immediately at 62. The difference between monks at 62 and monks at 75 is no more drastic than the difference between fly fishing at 62 and fly fishing at 75. Monkfish are the best training method as soon as it's possible to catch them. A tip: Set the display mode to high detail and stretch your window as much as you can horizontally, but shrink it as much as you can vertically. This gives you a widescreen view of the area, so that you can always see the fishing spot when it moves without needing to angle your camera. Sorry to hijack this thread, but how fast do monks fish as compared to lobsters? If you weren't timing it, you might think they're the same speed. The catchrate is pretty damn close. The experience and profit are strictly better, so there's really no good reason to catch lobsters when you can catch monkfish. And that applies to anyone who isn't a skiller pure--even if you haven't done the quest, the difference is enough that the quest will save you much more time than it takes to actually get the reqs and do it. Low C Posted June 28, 2009 Share Posted June 28, 2009 And to add to troacctid's point, Monkfish are almost hitting 500 gp each which is very good compared to when I got 99 fishing so I highly recommend fishing monks rather than lobsters. While fly fishing/barbarian fly fishing is faster experience, Monkfish give a lot better profit (especially since they are rising) as well as a fairly fast experience rate.
