Well, I decided to try to earn a little more money to try to burst at rock lobsters instead of stringing amulets, because I get experience in different skills, and gold amulets are rising tremendously. I'm 9M xp to 99 magic. I have a few questions

 

 

 

What's the standard amount of runes to bring for my stats?

 

 

 

Approx what level can I get in HP and what Summoning level can I get with the charms?

 

 

 

Could I get 88-99 with 70m? Someone said easily could, and I think I should.

 

 

 

What's the experience per hour? Is it better than string amulets? (125k+)

 

 

 

Can you afk these fairly well, or is it fully attention....? =(

Its somewhat afkable and just so you know barrage is actually cheaper than burst and 70m will definatly get you the charms for 99 sum

Bursting rock lobsters requires constant attention, because you have to go gather all of the lobsters into a little pile every time you kill them, so the majority of the time you are walking around the tunnels getting their attention.

Did you even read what I posted? I'm talking about 99 MAGIC. And I have read that guide over and over again...

 

 

 

And I just checked the rune wiki calculator, and barrage is 600gp more per cast than burst...

Yes I read what you posted and 70m will get you 99 mage easy and the reason its cheaper is because you kill them so much faster but I guess if your completly going for mage xp I dont know if its cheaper and I am aware that the runes cost more money.

But it gets more xp/charms per cast.

well its quite easy to calculate the cost tbh. lets say you get 180 exp per cast. you need 9mil exp till 99. 1 cast is about 1100gp.

 

 

 

9 000 000 / 180 = 50 000

 

 

 

50 000 * 1 100 = 55 000 000

 

 

 

So you should have some money left over.

 

 

 

As for it being afk-able, i don't think so. I'm doing it atm and you need constant focus. If 1 lobster gets out of the safespot or respawns after being killed or if a dagganoth gets through and yourre afk you will most likely die or narrowly escape. But its nothing compared to the focus needed for Alching or Enchanting. You should get about 180k exp per hour if focused and i would suggest taking about 2k casts at a time.

I need some of the other questions answered...

well, i think you would get about 4mil - 5mil hp exp so that should put you on 97 or 98. Im not sure about the other charms but i know you get about 1 crimson ever 4 casts. so that means you should get close to 12k crimsons.

Bring about 4K casts to start; After a while after you master pray conserving you can bring around 8-10K, but you'll get reallly bored without a break.

You'll get about 3M hp xp, but with the xp from casting the spell itself, it'll be closer to around 2.5M.

You should be able to, cost me about 80M from 82-99 (which I have banked, but not obtained). However, with high priced chaos and bloods, it may cost more now. You'll need 3.5M xp to 94 mage, after which you should switch to barrage. I think its about 180 xp/cast from bursts, so that's 19,772 casts of ice burst to 94, then 21,207 ice barrages to 99 mage.

 

19,772 ice bursts is 22,698,256gp - 24,280,016gp

 

21,207 ice barrages is 38,427,084gp - 41,523,306gp

 

Total is 61,125,340gp - 65,803,322.

You technically would get 3M hp xp, but because casting the spell itself gives a base xp, you'll actually get lower xp than what you "should" get. Meaning instead of gaining 3M hp xp, your only going to get 2.5M.

What does that mean? How much more expensive is Smoke Barrage that Ice Burst?

Ah, I forgot about smoke barrage... I've heard that's actually a lot better than ice bursting from 88-94, never personally used it myself. Might wanna try that out. Not sure on the xp/cast for that though, so I can't give you a cost estimate.
