Norriie
I'd like to go for 99 theiving soon, and I'm just curious how I should go about doing it. So, I'm asking all you smart people some questions. Answers would be greatly appreciated :] 1. I assume pyramid plunder is still the fastest way, yes? I'm level 67 thief right now, should I start out at pp right away or is there some other place I should train first? 2. How much money can I expect (hope?) to make? Or, rather, anyone know an average of how many pharoah's sceptres I might get? 3. Exp/hour averages? I've heard once you get to the last pp room you can get 200k or more, is this true? 4. What gear should I wear to pp? Also, what should my inventory look like? I'm pretty sure I've completed all related quests, and my stats are in my sig if that helps. 5. Pyramid plunder strategies? What will I have time to do? Thanks in advance for your help :twss: [Click for my blog] [hide=Drops & Achievements] 99 Hunter: 4/30/09 99 Cooking: 6/2/2009 99 Attack: 6/9/10 Dragon Legs x2 | Dragon Skirt x2 | Dragon Med x3 | Dragon Boots x13 | Dragon Shield Left Half x1Abyssal Whip x2 | Granite Maul x8 | Granite Helm x2 | Granite Legs x1[/hide]

When I went there 60-63 thief I just prayed and used dds spec + whip to get through the combat. Maybe 5-10 monks and a prayer book if you've completed the great brain robbery, and a couple of super anti's if not. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 32 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 9 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots
Mike_Ike111
On my trip to 99 thieving I used... Items worn: Spottier Cape Boots of Lightness Pharaohs Sceptre Inventory: 2-4 Super Anti(4) Monkfish All my Tireless Run Scrolls I would summon a terrorbird and would only use prayer on the mummies. I would sip 1 dose of my anti right as I got into the first room, as the dose lasts for 5 minutes and so does each round of PP.
thragon13
If you want, you can also try to get 90 agility for the legs and top therefore you would be light and have your def up some. [hide=][/hide]
Norriie
If you want, you can also try to get 90 agility for the legs and top therefore you would be light and have your def up some. I would do that if I had the patience to get 90 agil ;P But I've got a spottier cape, lightness boots, and penance gloves, so I think it ought to be enough to get my weight down low enough. Thanks for your responses, everyone. ^^ [Click for my blog] [hide=Drops & Achievements] 99 Hunter: 4/30/09 99 Cooking: 6/2/2009 99 Attack: 6/9/10 Dragon Legs x2 | Dragon Skirt x2 | Dragon Med x3 | Dragon Boots x13 | Dragon Shield Left Half x1Abyssal Whip x2 | Granite Maul x8 | Granite Helm x2 | Granite Legs x1[/hide]

Silver_Corner
5. Pyramid plunder strategies? What will I have time to do? You only get 5 mintues per game, which at lower levels is alot of time, and higher levels not so much. Best thing to do is always go through each room thieving the golden chest in the center, then use the doors. Keep doing this until you get to the highest level room you can use. One you get there, loot all the urns first, then the golden chest last (to keep scarabs away until the end). Do NOT waste time with the Sarcoughagous as they do not give any thieving xp. At lower levels you will have time left over, while at higher levels you will be pushing your limit to get to the highest room. Also, try to play the game on worlds with other people. Doors for the rooms only reset every 60 seconds or so, so if you see someone go through a door before you, use that door as its a high chance you can use it before the doors reset. This saves alot of time in figuring out which door is the correct one of the 4 to use.
