Penguin Hide and Seek Locations!! (Updated 8th July)

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Do we have a dedicated penguin spotting thread or something, for the penguin hide and seek minigame?

If we do, can someone direct me to it please?

Thanks

I always go to world 60 and join the chat world60pengs. You'll find all of them easily.

I usually do that myself, but last week they were a bit pathetic to be honest and I had to do the vast majority of the legwork myself.... something that usually took about an hour, ended up taking about 3.

Hence I'm looking for a more effective alternative.

Sorry then. Another clan chat may be better, that's all I can think of (I know it's not what you're asking for).

Or why not start a thread here dedicated to penguin hunting?

I know what You mean they did a whole rework on the clan chat Which is proabley the cause of this

But the guy/girl above me is right Usually if you dont like how something is run you make your own or help improvment

Penguins for this week (until Wed) are, remembering that penguins move around:

Near the Taverley Dungeon entrance

Jastizo, north of bank

Neitiznot, near trolls

Gnome Stronghold near Brimstail

Ape Atoll, near dungeon entrance

Near the waterfall raft south of barbarian outpost

Near the Eagle cave in Kharidian desert

Mort Myre swamp south of rope bridge

Witchaven

Wilderness penguin was in high wilderness near mage arena start point.

Polar bear is in the well near to the south entrace of Falador.

Hope that helps.

I expect the world60pengs will sort themselves out. And your not likely to find another clan thats better (at least not on that world), since they are the only ones who even try to track every penguin on that world at all times.

Whilst I'm not rejecting that clan, I would like a secondary source, so I'm trying to create that here on tip.it, so any help from anyone as to penguin locations can feel free to post.

you almost need a clan chat because at the rate people post and look at posts on tip it the penguins would have dissapared or moved to a different place.

so a w99 penguin clan chat or somethin?

The World 60 clan chat is great, EXCEPT for all the people that don't make a note of the locations and always seem to ask where the wildy penguin is...when there is no wilderness penguin that week.

Really, it's unfortunate that so many people don't make a note of the locations first. It takes up most of the time people are on the clan chat, dealing with people asking for the same bogus locations over and over.

What I do:

I go to the RSOF and search for the thread "penguin locations" - they create a new one every week, and they are generally good for any world. Sometimes I go to 60 and find them through the chat, and other times I just use the forum list and find them on my own.

IMO, it's just as wasy to find them with the locations list on a different world - you don't have to worry about stepping on trappers and other nonsense. The moving penguins make a distinctive sound that makes them easy to find, trappers or not.
