Sometimes when I log on, player characters stand, but without their 'pose'. They don't hold their weapons like they should, instead, everyone (with the exception of me) holds it in the same way.

 

It's hard for me to describe, so I've included a picture below.

 

Some motions work (IE I can see people moving in the motion of casting High Alchemy, but I can't see the actual affects of the spell), and others don't.

 

This problem only happens sometimes. Can anyone tell me what's up, or even if this happens to other people?

yup, they do it to reduce the lag. All those tiny animations that can really add up.

It's not about the other people, its about shooting cute furry things that explode.

yup, they do it to reduce the lag. All those tiny animations that can really add up.

 

 

 

Pretty much covers it.

 

 

 

To reduce lag in corwded areas all the little extras go.

 

 

 

First being "props" such as the objects u produce when you do skill cape emotes.

 

Then goes the stationary animations, such as cape flickering or swaying.

 

Thirdly goes unique poses in favour of basic generic poses.

 

 

 

You can always see urself in full detail, but everyone around u will be minimised to reduce lag
