  1. How long does it take to get a rune defender? How many tokens do you need? Is fighting animated armor the best way to gain tokens? For reference, I'm 70 attack, 69 str, 60 def, 67 hp, (82 cb), and have never even been into the warriors guild.
  2. You have 70 fletching according to your signature, so try buying yew logs, bowstrings/flax, fletching yew longs, and alching those. I've heard steel platebodies can get you profit, but I've personally never tried it.
  3. Is this going to affect 50/50 GOP clans? Is Jagex really trying to get rid of mini-game clans? Forgive me if I'm missing something here.
  4. That's his average. It's slower than his top speed because of the acceleration at the beginning of the race. High speed camera analysis shows that during Bolt's 9.69 Olympic run, in the middle of the race, when his speed was the highest, he cleared 10 meters in .82 seconds. He was running 43.9 kilometers per hour or 27.2 miles per hour.
  5. When he was 15, he was 6' 5" and running 400 meters in 48 seconds. So I'm pretty sure you're right. No way he's human.
  6. I've never seen that commercial before and I now want to kill babies and kittens and puppies with a big hammer.
  7. Wow. I don't know how many of you follow track (or run it. In that case, PM me), but breaking the 100 meter record by .11 seconds, as small as it sounds, is huge. That's never been done before and there's an excellent chance it will never be done again. I couldn't stop watching Bolt running. Any other trackkies here? What do you think of this?
  8. Deadly and impressive. I would not like to see that combo hit me.
  9. Will price drop affect everything? I'm sure that Godswords and the likes will be affected, but I'm wondering if it will affect commodities like food, runes, etc.

  11. There's really no way to solve it by changing the monsters. There will always be low level monsters, or at least ones that are a level low enough so the caster can't get hit very often. Anybody know why the afkers train downstairs in Lumby when there's million of other places that don't have people reporting them every other second?

  13. There is nothing to report them for since Jagex changed it because they aren't actually Macroing which is the closest reportable offence. From Jagex: AFK training is Away From Keyboard training. While you are playing on our games, you must be at the computer. Away-from-keyboard training is not allowed, and you should log out when you leave the computer. Source However, that's a very general definition. As long as the AFKers are physically at their computers, by that definition, they aren't breaking the rules. I'd like to see if Jagex clarifies this to make it include have the RS window minimized or in the background or whatever.
  14. QUIT YO JIBBA JABBA. +1 Internets, sir. OT, I think it's possible, statistically speaking. Probably none of the ultra-famous ones, but many some more obscure ones, like random athletes or band members. Nothing like Brad Pitt or Scarlett Johansson.
  15. That was the coolest way to level up to 99. 10/10 for your hard work, creativity (I was sick of seeing plan old parties), and bank.
  16. Great idea there, but I think your profits per hour figure is exaggerated. You profited 8k in one minute for sure, but it's unlikely you could do that 60 times in one hour, since you'd have to keep going back and buying more archery tickets.
  17. I used to think that, but then I bought some cheap agility pots and leveled up 1000 times faster in Brimhaven. I recommend it, because assuming you take the pots and keep your agility level up (also, keep your hp below 20), you'll earn a ton more xp faster. And it's not mind numbingly boring like the Barbarian Outpost course.

    Capes

Jagex releases about a million new, amazing graphical updates with animation, and yet, when my character bends over, the cape still magically disappears inside the back of him. This doesn't seem like a very complicated problem, yet Jagex has ignored it for a while now. Hopefully, it will be fixed in the next animation pack because I'm getting tired of it.
  19. I'm about 60 exp away from 70 attack and wondering which barrows weapon to buy. I considered a whip, but I need something cheap and really need something I can train strength with. I'm leaning towards Dharok 's greataxe, but tell me if another melee brother is better. Or, if I'm completely wrong slash missing another weapon, tell me. Thanks for the help.
  20. Yes, very similar to that. My mother is an accountant, and to protect accounts she works with, her company uses authenticators like that. These aren't silly little bank PINs, these are security devices that are incredibly difficult to bypass unless you physically have it in your hand. I'm very happy that Jagex is truly concerned in keeping people's accounts safe.
  21. It's really good. Nice KOs. It's a bit short though. Still a good 3.5/5 or so. Better than I could do.
  22. The queue system seems to be random. I waited for about 40 minutes to no avail, left, came back, and was in a game five minutes later.
  23. yup, they do it to reduce the lag. All those tiny animations that can really add up. Pretty much covers it. To reduce lag in corwded areas all the little extras go. First being "props" such as the objects u produce when you do skill cape emotes. Then goes the stationary animations, such as cape flickering or swaying. Thirdly goes unique poses in favour of basic generic poses. You can always see urself in full detail, but everyone around u will be minimised to reduce lag Thanks, you guys have been helpful. Nice to know my connection isn't messed up
  24. Sometimes when I log on, player characters stand, but without their 'pose'. They don't hold their weapons like they should, instead, everyone (with the exception of me) holds it in the same way. It's hard for me to describe, so I've included a picture below. Some motions work (IE I can see people moving in the motion of casting High Alchemy, but I can't see the actual affects of the spell), and others don't. This problem only happens sometimes. Can anyone tell me what's up, or even if this happens to other people? [hide=Clicky][/hide]
