Yep, break officialy starts now :D! Just got home from cricket so I'll have until 8:30 pm to get some mining time in (Aliens is on at 8:30 so I don't wanna miss it :lol:).

 

Cricket wasn't that good though. I took a catch at point, but it didn't mean anything. By drinks we had them 2/42 off 29 overs. Then, we just fell apart. Bowling was bad, fielding was alright but it could've been better. They scored 160 runs in 25 overs :wall:.

 

Ah well, next Saturday is a new day. We have 58 overs to beat 200-odd, and the pitch + grass are in our favour whilst batting. Looking forward to owning some peeps next week :thumbsup:.

 

Okay, enough about my life. Off to get 70 mining and buy a D Pick!

Yeah I know, only one level today. I was gonna try and get the 7 day survivor achievement on Dead Rising today, but I couldn't be bothered. I survived for 2 days then just turned it off. I had another 10 hours to go -.-

 

Tomorrow, I'll be aiming for 73 mining. Then 75. Then 77. Hopefully, before this week is over, I'll be mining away at the coal deposits in living rock caverns :D.

 

PS: Thanks Hedgehog for the awesome granite mining guide! It really, REALLY helps to make the training that much easier :). And, despite only playing for about 2 hours, I really powered through 71 mining. Hopefully 72-77 will be as easy :P.

Though, it's not as annoying as full comboing songs in rhythm games. I almost always miss at least a few notes on each song on the hardest difficulty. -_-

Dead Rising isn't especially difficult, but once you get to day 5-7 you need to know where all the survivors are because they are the only source of food once you get to that stage. I am gonna try to complete that achievement eventually, but I'm not really looking forward to it.

 

And I suck really bad at rhythm games, especially stuff like guitar hero where you have to hit the notes perfectly. Damn thats hard :angry:

No problem, you're guide is really good. Covered everything I needed to know :). I'm 50K exp from 72, I am been kinda lazy again and taking a break. I feel like playing dead rising...

Levels are much slower now, yet the experience is faster compared to iron. It feels kinda srange cause you expect the levels to fly by after 70, but they don't. Its all good though, cause I feel really pumped for another level :D.

 

I reckon I can get to 77 by the end of the week if I just keep a nice pace going. That means little distractions, if any, but regular breaks in between levels. Once I'm 77, concentrated coal to 80, then from 80-85 concentrated gold. From there, rune mining on weekends and concentrated gold all the way to 99.

I made a lot off those gems, majority are from powermining iron. They totalled up to around 30-40K. I also mined some coal/mithril for a bit in the mining guild (around 1/2 hour) and made just over 100K :). Its quite relaxing and fun, but I better head off to the quarry tomorrow. Big day ahead of me!

Okay, 74 tomorrow, then 75 Thursday, 76 Friday and 77 Saturday. Take a break on Sunday, then start fresh next week in the Living Rock Caverns :). Oh, next week will be mostly off rs, because its Christmas AND my birthday (birthday is Christmas Eve :D). So expect like one or two levels at the max next week, unless I decide to waste my Christmas on an online game... Nah!

 

Because of that, I won't be getting 85 mining until sometime next year, probably first two weeks. Life calls :P.

When I get bored of mining... And I don't think that'll happen until level 90 or so :(. Don't worry, I have all my supplies banked so all I gotta do is tele to varrock and start crafting :).

No level today, my computer has a virus and it took me until 8:00PM to get rid of it (I only found out around 2:00PM :P). So I'll get 74 tomorrow, and I'll make my best attempt to get 75, but I'm working n the Saint achievment for DR. Only 1 day to go, less than 12 survivors left :D.
