Concentrated iron would probably do, no more than that. Possibly, but Iron is a bit too fast for two ores at a time :P. They'd have to lower the mining rate and make it a bit harder to get, probably maxing out the experience rate at around 50-55K an hour. And I'll get around to changing the title :P. Quick 30K or so today. Not as much as I'd hoped, but I was blue screened by CoD 4 today so I had to fix that up, then I went to the pool for about 2 hours to do my usual laps (usually every weekend) and my other regular duties, so it was a pretty busy day. I'll give you the bad news first. Okay, here we go. My runescape time will be cut down to around 5% now that I'm back at school, but its only the one class that will be causing me so much trouble. Which class is that, you say? Its maths. Now, I know I hate maths, but that doesn't mean I wan't to do bad in it. So, I tried really hard last semester to turn it around and it payed off, with excellent grades and everything. Problem is, now my workload will be tripled. Yes, thats right, I'll be getting extra work from the subject I hate just because I wanted to do well in it. Well, school's funny that way. Work hard, work harder, lose your life... Anyway, Iit was all explained to me in class. Basically, I'll be rushing through the year 10 course in about a term and a half, then we will be doing the year 11 course (2 unit) until the end of the year, then we will be doing the year 12 course, and trial HSC papers until we see if we can sit the HSC in year 11. So, I'll have to start studying once my year 10 course is completed and we move on to year 11 work. BUT, I still have to do study for tests, because I will get kicked out of accelerated if they think I'm not doing well enough. Basically, I need to get around 70% on my tests all the time, otherwise I'm kicked out. I also have to do all my homework, test corrections, and study, otherwise I'll be kicked out as well. Sadly, it's a dog eat dog situation now, because only 40 out of 90 kids can make it through to year 11. Oh well. Better knuckle down sometime this week and study. Although not as much, I still have time. So, my 99 mining goal still lives on. It will take longer than I planned, possibly two years until I get it now, so that means this blog will get pretty old :lol:. Even though study is important, I still have to allocate time for relaxation, so that means runescape time (and hopefully getting a level or two ;)). PS: Sorry I didn't get the level last night, I was doing some maths work but kept getting distracted, so it took me longer than I thought. And I didn't even get it done :wall:. I barely know anything at the moment, and just to explain the kinda; I gotta pass a security test before I can get everything else done. I can now make my way to the Living Rock Caverns, where my mining skills shall be honed (in other words, 99 here I come!). Until I get 80 mining I'll be mining coal, then I'll be mining gold, then I'll finally be mining rune on the weekend (after 12:00pm...) and gold on weekdays until I get the title of "lol pwned mine" :lol:. nerdboyxxx Posted February 6, 2010 Author Share Posted February 6, 2010 [hide=78 mining][/hide] Well, Coal is only about 30-40K an hour at max, so I'm averaging around 32K exp/hr. I've been mining for around 5 hours now, so I'm pretty much burned :lol:. Still, two levels in one day is pretty neat. I *might* get 79 tomorrow, but seeing how long it will take me with 169K experience to go, I'll have to mine all day, and I've got homework/study to do. So maybe another time :). I'll try and get in a few hours of runescape though. Even though the experience is kinda slow, It's still quite good. The only thing I hate is the living rock stalkers; they always stay aggro on me, so I have to leave the cavern then get back in everytime I'm attacked by them, and they always seem to be drawn to me -.-. It seems that any player under level 100 is fair game. Well, once I start mining gold there'll be more people around me, so less chance of me getting singled out (hopefully :P). Gold is around 60K/hr and about 250K gp/hr, so I can't wait till I hit 80. And, once I hit 85, I'll be rune mining every weekend and adding a couple more mills to my cash pile. Hopefully I can average around 2-3M a week, and that will fund me for quite some time. But I don't want to get ahead of myself. My major goal is in front of e, and even though I've got a lot more work to do, I've done it twice before. Even if those two before were a shorter journey, they are, quoting a friend of mine, "same crap, different smell".
