Construction question-portal focusing (anwsered, ty!)

Alright, i recently got a portal room in my house, but, not having the guts to do DT yet, im not on ancient magicks...is it possible to have somebody else focus a portal for me? i really want kharyll tele :P

I read somewhere that you can do the portal there without having done the quest. I don't know if that's true or not, but give it a shot?

 

 

 

Maybe it was you just don't need to have ancients activated to do it... can't remember.

You don't need to be on ancients to direct one there, but wether or not you need to have done DT, i don't know.

You don't need to be on Ancients to focus it (I did it in my house without being on ancients), but you do need to finish DT according to the kb (which despite much criticism, is almost always right):

Nope, just like no one else can build you furnature, if it can't be flatpacked then no one can help you with it (In terms of construction at least...)

Note that DT is easy except for Kamil, and Kamil is easy with 43 prayer.
