September 20, 200520 yr i think there should be an item (a reward item from a quest maybe) or option that allows you to repeat the last thing you typed. There should be a limit on how often you can use it, like every 10 seconds or w/e. I think this will make it more fair for people who dont auto (and for slow typers or lazy people like me :lol: ). I know this is open for abuse but what isnt on rs? Has anyone suggested this before? i dont think i have seen it before but i'm not on this part of the forum much Constructive criticism only please, no flamers. I have posted this on the rs forums but i would like the opinions of the tip.it community.
September 20, 200520 yr Aye that's pretty handy. Like a hotkey or something? Seeing as it doesn't let you send reports within 60 seconds they could easily set a time limit for this as well. It may also lessen the need for autotypers. Pretty good idea :P This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

I'd said this would never happen a week ago, but then they instilled the Cook X :) This wouldn't need to be a quest reward, either, I think. It could be for everyone. Maybe even (gasp) F2P! lpinkus

September 22, 200520 yr How about an item similar to current amulets? A 1/50 chance of dropping from a monster. It could be called something like the "amulet of calling". You can only use it once every 10-15 seconds, and you can only use it say 20-50 times before it loses it's magical power. I think an item similar to this would be great! You mean a member's quest, right? wouldnt have to be because not all f2pers are noobs, so if they made it sligtly hard to get (most) noobs wouldnt bother.

September 26, 200520 yr This is a pretty good idea. Today I tried buying a bunch of chaos, but alas! all I got was aching fingers from typing so much. To prevent the autotypers there should be a time limit, but I think the one lpinkus proposed (25 secs) is a bit much. However, I don't think spling's suggestion that it burns out after 20-50 times is that good. I walked around for bout an hour without getting any takers, and I type fairly quickly. Perhaps if its a 10 sec cooldown rate from a moderate quest. The quest doesnt have to be that hard, but should be long, bc I've noticed that most beggars are lazy. If it is decided to burn out after 2 hours of straight use, then another should be obtainable from the person ye got the quest from. It probably should be payed for, but not too expensive, maybe 10k at max? Hope this helps, and ye dont find it too confusing to read. Abutebaris modo subjunctivo denuo.

Hope this helps, and ye dont find it too confusing to read. sorry about your fingers lol but it happens to us all...... getting out sold by autoers even if we have a better deal :roll:. if you look at my first post i suggested 10 secs so i agree with you on that i also agree about the burning out thing.... not the best idea. Long quest is definatly a yes as long as it isnt too hard and it should probably involve some logic (noobs wont like that). I agree that this is a good idea (mainly beacause it was my idea but oh well lol) and dont you think its a pity this will never be introduced. I'm gonna repost this on the rs forums and try and keep it bumped i'll post it with the title 'Chat item/option' so if you like this idea bump it to show your support. ps krieg it wasn't confusing at all
