  1. Speaking as someone who also has a project partnered with Tip.It, I know that this will be a great benefit for both parties involved. Glad to see some forward progress for Tip.It, and excited to see what this might bring in the future. Good luck! (Now; let's bring RuneTracker into the mix.;))
  2. Hello. Someone came into my chat room today to report an error on the quest guide for In Aid of the Myreque. There is a typo in step #2 " ... exit through the doora. Head south ... " Thanks! :)

  4. I'm glad to see some people actually noticed this topic and came to check it out. Sorry I missed you Sluggy, Ami, and Merc! :o I'll edit my post to include the Server/Channel info as well for those who already use a real IRC client. Sucks that so many people are having problems with that Java one.. You can also try out Gogloom's client but there's all sorts of security popups on it, so you have to kinda read carefully, it's not "yes to all." http://www.gogloom.com/client2/index2?mainCHAT=1&network=Tip&channel=%23runescape Edit: Another great alternative (and much easier) is Mibbit: http://mibbit.com/?channel=%23runescape&server=irc.tip.it
  5. Hey TIF, Tip.It has a Live Chat link at the top of the Forums. I am posting this because I want more people to come and check it out and participate. The chat has been around for many years, and used to be a very active place with lots of people chatting and using it. Unfortunately it has been on the decline recently. I hope that some people will see this post and decide to come check it out (and keep coming back.) We need more people to chat with! Come tell us about your latest adventures in RuneScape, your frustrations with your current quest, the noob who won't stop spamming the song that never ends, or anything else you can think of to chat about. The channel isn't limited to RuneScape only. The chat room can be a very rewarding experience if you stick around and actually talk to people. Sometimes it can take a little while for someone to respond, but when there are active people in it, Live Chat is one of the most engaging ways to communicate with other people in the community. Part of the reason that the IRC chat is so special is because you actually get to have 1 on 1 conversations with the staff of the site. There isn't as much staff presence as there used to be in #runescape as there used to be, and I'm really hoping that this nudge will get some more people interested, including Tip.It staffers who haven't given it a try. There is a simple java chat client up on the forums, but I would suggest anyone serious about being active in the chat community should look at a real IRC client like mIRC or xchat. These clients really do make IRC a fun and easy thing to participate in! Live Chat (Java not workin' out for you? Try Mibbit: http://mibbit.com/?channel=%23runescape&server=irc.tip.it) Server Info: Server: irc.tip.it Channel: #runescape

I would say now, and I'm glad to see someone come climbing out of the non-poster bucket. ^_^

Heck, seeing their profile, they just have to turn on Profile Comments, and it'll be like home for them. =P

  9. This would be excellent. I support. Especially if it could be accessed without having to log in to the game.
  10. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Spiked_boots "Spiked boots are boots that can be obtained by bringing Dunstan, the Burthorpe blacksmith, an iron bar and a pair of climbing boots (not rock climbing boots). Dunstan will only help after a player completes a required portion of the Death Plateau quest."
  11. Cool beans Tripsis. I've always thought that introduction forums were a neat idea for forum communities. Doubling as a farewell forum is good too.
  12. You are a very nice person and everyone gets along with you and you don't ruthlessly troll people EVER!

  13. This user smells funny.

  14. Ah! That's good to hear. Source: QFC 15-16-435-58306717 (Page 12) This should allow us the be able to confidently remove the glitched entries from our database. :)
  15. Please stay the messages! I have been already been made very aware of this glitch, and I know which people are in question specifically on our record lists. Right now I have decided that I'm not going to take any action as far as manually removing entries from the tracker yet. I'm waiting to see if Jagex either bans these people/reverts the exp gains, or does nothing. Hopefully, if not the latter, it will be easy for us to remove not only the gains on the records lists that are concerning people mostly, but also the gains from people that you can't see, or don't know about. If it ends up being that Jagex does indeed do nothing to allow us to distinguish the glitched players, I will manually remove "obvious" glitch entries, and just hope that I don't have any false positives. :)

  17. Patch notes: (QuickFind: 15-16-883-58264031) The following small fixes and adjustments have now been made to the game. If you spot any further bugs in-game, please use the Bug Report feature ('Submit a Bug Report' under the 'Help' drop-down menu of the website). Graphical * A render issue has been fixed with the home teleport spell. * The animation when drinking a keg of Slayers Respite has been adjusted. * A path in Varrock has had its verge tidied to blend in better. * A piece of wall was missing in Seers Village. * The Varrock Smithing Tutor's head no longer appears empty from certain camera angles in low detail mode. * An odd graphical issue has been resolved in Brimhaven Dungeon. * A wieldable banner causing stretching has now been detached from players wearing berets. * A hut near Brimhaven has had its floor reinforced against subsidence. * Silver armguards are now silver, and similarly gold armguards are gold. How they became green remains a mystery! * Traiborn no longer wears two cloaks, which were causing some interesting looks. * A ladder to a cellar no longer sticks out of the trapdoor. * The Agility shortcut in Draynor has been made to look better when using it. * The windmill blade on the Cooking Guild no longer clips through the building. * A washing line appeared to be floating in mid air. The supporting post has been fixed. * A strip of the Stronghold of Security reward boots no longer changes based on your hair colour. * Players without hair will no longer gain hair while wearing party hats. * Fixed some render issues on the spottier cape when performing certain animations like fishing. * Several hairstyles have been adjusted to better suit the huge selection of hats that are available. * The Lighthouse bulb has been replaced with a brighter one and should look better. * The Robin Hood hat now works better with [bleep]y hair styles. * Players can no longer stand in a signpost and look like they are in a set of gallows or possibly pretend to be a scarecrow. * Several icons weren't appearing in high detail mode in Port Sarim, this has been resolved. * A render issue with the circus ringmaster hat in low detail has been resolved. * A roof has been re-attached to its supports in Port Khazard. * Parts of a floating tree in the Tree Gnome Village have been cut down. * The colours of the Stealing Creation reward hammer should better match the inventory icon when wielded. * It seems the imp chathead was no longer an imp but a human head wearing an imp costume after the graphical update! The imp is now quite glad to be back to normal. * The salamanders near the Chaos Altar were occasionally getting stuck near one of the trees, this should no longer occur. * The chests in the Temple of Ikov ice area were back to front, these have been turned around. * Your chathead when wearing the Guthix mitre should now look more consistent with the actual headwear. __________________________________________________ Quests * Players will only get the "This is a requirement for While Guthix Sleeps" message once when they gain a level in attack or strength equal to the Warriors Guild requirements. * The 'New Key' from the Mourning's Ends quest can now be placed on the key ring. * There is now a quest start icon for both sides of The Shield of Arrav quest. * The Grand Tree quest journal has had a bit more information added for a certain part which wasn't as clear as it could've been. __________________________________________________ Minigames * Penguins no longer have slightly squished heads during their hiding animations for the Hide and Seek distraction and diversion. * Certain penguins from the Hide and Seek distraction and diversion were wandering a bit further than we thought those sneaky penguins! * The Shooting Star distraction and diversion code has been adjusted so that you're no longer given strange estimates of the next landing e.g. 1 hour 61 minutes should obviously be 2 hours 1 minute. * The Sanfew serum from Temple Trekking has been brought in line with the recent changes to restore Summoning as well as the existing stats. * Stealing Creation items in the Ranged skill guide are now correctly displayed as members only. __________________________________________________ Miscellaneous * A few typos and grammatical issues have been fixed. * Several interfaces have been updated and improved, with little or no visual change. * All spirit shields are now in the skill guide. * You can no longer cut pineapple into slices without the necessary inventory space. * The message when you reach 99 Slayer has been made clearer to account for the possibility that Duradel might not be there. * It should be easier to walk and pick up any dropped belongings while adventuring near Baxtorian Waterfall. Previously, some places you could lose your items were hard to get to or impossible. * A Fishing spot previously inaccessible is now available once more near Shilo Village. * The mogre Fishing spot's clickable area has been increased as it was a bit smaller than we'd like. * The PvP gloves that give bonus Hunter experience should now last longer. These had been wearing out quicker than we intended. * Adjusted one of the Lumbridge Achievement Diary tasks to move its location slightly and updated the information accordingly. This wont affect anyone who has already completed the task. * A level-up message for Smithing was informing players the incorrect location for the Smithing Tutor. * A few items such as the hat and eyepatch couldnt be taken to Entrana. These don't have any combat stats, so we've removed the restriction.
  18. So... This is a link to the RuneScape official forums: http://forum.[Please Use QuickFind Code].ws?77,78,416,58228561 Something a little off here? Maybe.. (Seriously, try to post http://foru m.runescape.com/foru ms.ws?77,78,416,58228561 without the spaces)
  19. The MSN bots should be back up and working now. Our tubes got clogged.. However, msn1-4 are at maximum capacity and cannot be added. I think that 5-9 are still good to add more people but I'm watching them closely to make sure.
