  1. The problem with sending it to a mod, is that you have to remember that they have lives too. And if the millions of people that play RuneScape get around to making one of these . . . well, you get the picture. A different way would be to create fifty or so designs, and allow players to use them as stamps for their crest.
  2. :P  Yet another great evolution of the bank by Thagern. Supported wholeheartedly!
  3. I agree. Did anyone else notice when this topic was first posted? This is a bit much in my book. This horse is dead and rotting. Don't reanimate dead posts.
  4. IMO, the god armour is for three things: fashion, to prove how "rich" you are, or to show which god you support. In all three of these cases there doesn't actually have to be improvements to stats to show the point. So why improve it?
  5. The idea of a dragon island isn't too bad, and I like the limiting factors, but having this creature drop all three unreleased dragon items plus new dhide is poorly thought out. In my view, that one idea turns the rest into a ploy to get more powerful armors out quickly so a few can get rich. . . I'm for new ranging armors, but the dragon - definitely not. Maybe a large helm, but nothing more is needed - especially from one creature.
  6. Maybe, maybe not. However, how hard is it for the macro using person to log in, go the the bank, type their PIN in, and then proceed to run the macro client? The PIN doesn't stop macroing in the slightest; what it is there for is to stop people from stealing accounts and running off with everything in the bank. Of course, who knows how long it will still work for that . . .
  7. Well I sent something. . . probably won't even get read. . .
  8. This would be good, and I don't think this would mess up the combat triangle too much, since mages are already overpowered, and I don't think they would want to trade bonus attack for no weight. The biggest effect would be pures trading monk robes for it, but as long as the defense is only +50 or so, it should be fine. And it wouldn't have any negative values so any class could use it. JAGeX might want to put in a few more abbysal creatures to drop the robes though.
  9. I think the only other way to "send" it in is to bring it to the attention of a mod and hope they like it enough to support it. . . Ah well, good idea anyway.
  10. Good idea, very well thought out. I like it. I agree with Bubsa as in nothing seems overpowered and that it should be sent in. Wish you luck!
  11. Agree. Agree. Not really needed, this would be more of a waste IMO.
  12. Heh heh heh heh. . . Sometimes the truth is so funny. Still, heres the latest and best bank idea: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=351049He has already sent out a letter to JAGeX I think, but it never hurts to go and check on it.
  13. He did say that NPCs could only run inside of their areas, so monsters running into cities would be highly unlikely. I think this is a good idea. Monsters are a bit downgraded, and this reminds me of old combat system (sorta).
  14. From what I understand, they're more of an attempt to stop autoers and to break the tedium of the game. As to the topic, yes, it would be nice.
  15. Well since the rest of the people blither on about using the search, but do not link it, I've decided to go ahead and run the search. Note: Do not post on old topics!!! Horses: http://forum.tip.it/search.php?mode=results Enjoy!
  16. Methinks this is the wrong forum. Therefore try this one: Media Discussion http://forum.tip.it/viewforum.php?f=16
  17. A couple things. * How would you designate the person to be protected? * A prayer level in the 80s doesn't have to be required. Instead, have it at late 60s, with the prayer only acting like wilderness protects, i.e. 50% protection. (rather like Indizle said) * I agree with how it prevents the player from using his/her own protects. However, this might be used as a weapon in wilderness (ex. a mage attacks someone and prays "protect other from ranged"). As a solution, the "prot oth" prayer can be overridden by the player's own protect if the player prays a different protect. * Any ideas for images? Perhaps the same image they have now, just two of them crossed? Might have more later. We definately need more prayers. P.S. evildestruction - Can you add an 'h' to "trowing" in your sig? It's driving me crazy. :P
  18. Aye, it is a bit unfair to have flagholders. Get rid of them.
  19. But won't you at least point out the right forum for the girl? Clan Recruitment: http://forum.tip.it/viewforum.php?f=38 There you go!
  20. In non-multi combat areas now, there is still tag-teaming. The nostalgia that he is experiencing comes from the old RSC combat where only two people could fight at once. However, back then rangers and mages were in high demand because they could attack into a fight. With the equipment we have now, this wouldn't be as good. The wilderness is turning into a massive problem and it won't be easy to solve.
  21. You can solve all this by sticking it into a quest. At the completion, depending on which god you chose to help you would have the ability to buy it from a priest. It could be tradeable, but like the dragon scimitar it could only be used if you completed the quest. An additional requirement of one only being able to wield the sword of the god he chose in the quest, and also have a prayer requirement to wield it (perhaps 31, as that's the monastery req). Finally, bring back the first commented stats by Unrealist.
  22. In f2p it's the rangers. Melee has runite and mages can hit higher per level up to a certain level. When the rangers finally bypass the mages, melee is too good.
  23. Give me a break here! Someone use the search function for once! This is the latest thread on dual wielding: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=383203
  24. So true. It's just a pity that most people who complain won't listen to this. Good job on the update.
  25. Part of the idea behind the wilderness is the risk you take in walking in it. Pures are just part of that risk. If you can't take the risk of entering the wilderness, then don't go there. There is nothing essential in the wild anyway, besides the mage arena quest. And just remember that pures are specialized players that cannot survive outside of the wilderness. It is a trade-off between killing players, and killing monsters\npcs. With only 1 defense, practically anything can take them down. And kgbcowboy, there are several ways to get money without leveling noncombat stats. Most of them require standing in a spot to pick up spawns, which can be sold to start off a pure. After that, if you're good enough, the pure funds itself.
