The Chronicles Of Narnia - December 9th
I only just found about this when I saw the trailer when I went to see Harry Potter. Having never read the books yet seen part of the original movie, I thought omg this is going to be a crap kiddies film. But the trailer looked really awesome. Kinda reminded me of LOTR, particularly the battle scenes. I'm really looking forward to this. Gonna have to read the books now :P Harry Potter still rocked tho

{MFAI}WELCOME! Learn and ask your questions about Islam here
Just wanted to say, thankyou for this topic kirby :) I learnt how biased and just plain wrong some of my views/ideas about Islam were. You obviously put a lot of work into this, and I appreciate it. Also it's nice to see the relative lack of flaming on this topic. Evidently there are some people on this forum emotionally mature enough to respect other people's opinions :P

What's Your Typing Speed?

I just want to find out what you guys think . . .
Well I'm sorry but you are wrong. America is a republic and you are dumb. I can do a google search for the phrase "found the cure for AIDS", and there will be a bunch of people that actually think they found the cure for AIDS. That doesn't mean they did, and that doesn't mean there is actually a cure for AIDS. See, Evilperson, it could be worse... you could have MyPurpleCrayon as your teacher :|

Shark in number 1? Doesn't work so well on a computer screen lol but pretty cool nonetheless. Where'd you get the program from?

People's hobbies?
Reading webcomics, chatting to friends, video games, playing guitar. Main one though is karate. There's no better stress relief than punching and kicking at people while yelling at them as loud as you possibly can :P Oh, and eating chocolate :D

I hereby pledge my allegiance to the Emperor. May he live and protect for all eternity! On topic, this is a pointless topic, so let's go back off topic. All the heathens must die! All who oppose the Emperor shall burn in agony! Uuh... who is this emperor anyway? Can I kill someone for him? *waiting for topic to be locked*

Mods please close and delete- this is out of hand
Mmk..... I was going to take pity on you and merely warn you that topics like these invariably attract a considerable amount of quite understandable flaming. But after that comment, and the irritation your immaturity has caused me....  BURN TOPIC BURN!!!!!!!!  Oh and btw: In this case its who. Whom is used as an object

self defence in australia
Yeah the whole thing is [cabbage]. :x But if you're interested in self-defence, there are plenty of martial arts around, although specialised courses are much better. Failing that, poke them in the eye, kick them in the groin or the knee. Always works. Also, you'd be surprised at how effective a good yell can be. If you're not expecting it it scares the [bleep] outta you; itll also draw bystanders' attention. Having done karate for 5 years I honestly believe my kiai (read: warcry) is the most powerful technique I've learnt for self-defence. Very entertaining for punishing people who piss me off as well :D

Petah Petah Pan!
Yay a fellow reader! 8) Umm better say something about that peter pan site. I think the scariest thing about that is how he goes on about trying to find "tinkerbell". The site linked by that little picture in the bottom right is even more disturbing... :? Also I don't like how he is apparently so fond of tights. Ugh...

Chat item/option
I like the amulet idea. It would certainly make all the autoers in world 1 much less annoying if everyone could do that legally. Nice to see noones started flaming yet

I need some help..
Hmm. I don't know much about this really, but if you're depressed and you don't know why, you should talk to people about it and probably see a doctor/psychiatrist. You might be clinically depressed (i.e. medical condition), which can happen for no apparent reason, but like I said I don't know much about it. Whatever is the case, talking to family and friends etc would probably really help. And don't let it get to you; you will get over it.

Lobbies
It's not really spam, but it should go in the Library forum. Nice poem/song though. Personally I can't stand seafood unless its fish.

Your standing on religion
I agree with you. That's the main reason I'm not religious. I could go on and on about this, but I'll just get pissed off and probably start a flame war. Besides, most of the Christians I know don't really believe in hell anyway. And most of the ideas about compassion and forgiveness I really like, and I try to live that way anyway. I'm kinda agnostic, leaning towards not believing in God. I think religion's great for giving people hope and direction when they would otherwise be really lonely and helpless, but for me I don't see any reason why any religion is anything other than mythology. I still respect other people's beliefs though, so long as they respect mine; I fully appreciate I could be completely wrong in my ideas.

Candy vs Chocolate
Chocolate all the way baby. 1. Boost (sooo nice, I think I'm addicted to em :D ) 2. Turkish delight 3. Picnic 4. Mars 5. Just plain old block chocolate, sometimes you just can't beat simplicity. I don't mind soft lollies, sometimes I have them if chocolate seems a bit too much. Can't stand lollipops etc though, I just dont like having something hard in my mouth to suck on

Cell phones / Mobile Phones
lol sorry but just putting that way it sounds really funny  My first phone was my mum's old Nokia 3310, got it nearly 2 years ago when I was 16. Current one is Motorola C650, got it round last Christmas with part of a pile of money my grandma gave me. It was only $200 AU which was a good price for a camera phone. Having a camera with you at all times is vital when with the people I hang out with at uni when they start doing random stuff :P
