The Chronicles Of Narnia - December 9th

I can't wait to see this movie, the characters look so awesome. Also the acting looks incredible. Going with friends opening night. WooT! :D

I really enjoyed the books so I hope the film lives up to my expectations. I must admit it looks very promising though, and there's supposed to be a LOTR rivalling fight scene? 8)

Well, whatever happens, it can't be worse than the origianl CoN movies...

i heard the movie lives up to the book, but im not one to judge till i see it

ive read the whole series so im excited to see this movie. the only thing i dont like is the fact that little kids are rules of this whole thing, kinda childish i think. but i still wanna see the show :P

i never read the books, and im in the middle of other books now so i wnt be able to read them before i see the movie. the movie still looks pretty good, but as someone else mentioned kind of childish. oh well, i think it will be pretty good.

Im also looking forward to it although I havent seen much footage from it :(

And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid.

John Lewis is a great, great shop.

Too bad it is a Disney Movie...which probably means it is going to be really corny.

Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

I'm a big fan of the Chronicles of Narnia, and I'm really looking forward to the movie too. Just an interesting tidbit: C.S. Lewis, who wrote the Chronicles of Narnia, knew Tolkien, and they were friends at one point. One of Lewis' books, The Screwtape Letters, is actually dedicated to Tolkien. I thought that was fascinating.

Even though it is a Disney movie, I think it will be pretty good. Douglas Gresham, C.S. Lewis' stepson, is working on it alongside Disney, so I'm guessing that the movie will be close to the book and very well done. And I agree that it couldn't possibly be any worse than the old movies. (There was a visible zipper on Aslan's costume. That was really bad.)

I cant wait to see it. Watched trailers etc, and there seems to be an quite big fighting scene. Looks pretty awesome. I dunno if that scene could be rivalling to LOTR though... However, it will be quite more interesting, as LOTR was only fighting against MASS of orcs (ok, not all, but in general ;) ), this looks quite cool to see Minotaurusses, and jaguars fight :)

Retired.

Im having a hard time deciding on this one.

It looks good, but after watching the original, it just seems overdramatic for such an easy going story :P

We had to watch one of them in fourth grade, and I still bear the scars from it years later.

Did you also know that the main character in Lewis's Space Trilogy, Dr. Ransom, was based on Tolkein? I love all the links there are in the world of literature. :P

As for the movie, I can hardly wait to see it. From what I can tell, the movie will actually do the book justice. :)

Oh yea, I remember this one part in the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, it's when Aslan comes back to life - and he's like "cover your ears children [susan and lucy], I'm about to roar!"... and then it's like rawr... and the girls act like their ears are burnt off... it's the most brutal thing ever...

I loved the story so I imagine I will enjoy the movie.

I only just found about this when I saw the trailer when I went to see Harry Potter. Having never read the books yet seen part of the original movie, I thought omg this is going to be a crap kiddies film.

But the trailer looked really awesome. Kinda reminded me of LOTR, particularly the battle scenes. I'm really looking forward to this. Gonna have to read the books now :P

Harry Potter still rocked tho

The following statement is true. The previous statement is false. 60% of all statistics are made up 90% of the time

andrew i love you & want you to have my babys!!! <3:
