What's Your Typing Speed?

Featured Replies

Hey,

Well I've recently been wondering, how fast can I type? I know I type at a decent speed, but as of late I haven't taken any online tests. Upon searching google, I randomly clicked the first link and was sent to a reasonable online typing test. So yeah, using this test, how fast can you type? For the record, I took the test under 1 minute timed, WPM, and Strategic Alliances With Computers.

Here's my screenshot, on try #2:

Reminder:

No fakes here folk's, that belongs in the media boards. What's your typing speed?

Online Typing Test

In year 7 I was 120 words per minute.. I'm in year 12 now, so maybe a little more (yes I was a freak for a year 7 :P )

It froze when I started it :(

95% accurate, 66 WPM Net speed. It would be faster but the words used in that I never would ever use and therefore cannot spell. I type by the word, not by the letter, so I go back and change most mistakes. In other words, if it was coming out of my head or someone using words I could spell, it would be significantly faster.

Edit-Second try, on the second test - 97%, 74WPM net.

for some reason, i get a Test Results: then nothing else there. its just blank. i typed at 39 wpm the first time, 42 the second. im guessing around 70 or 80 percent accuracy.

well, im by far the worst one so far, but i expected that. i didnt expect to get around 40 a minute, i was thinking more 25 to 30. so im happy :D
