Because i know like 10 people who have that, im not a fan of flip phones myself. But I know a 9 year old with a cell phone. :/ I have t-mobile, and a samsung e105 flip phone. :) Small and compact. But, instead of spending 400$ on a phone, I bought clothes. I'm hoping to get a cheap phone soon though. Never found any use for them, since I'm not much of a talker on the phone. My 2nd and current phone is a Nokia 3510i and I got when I was 18 at the beggining of 2003. It's quite old now and when I get some money in I'll be looking for a new mobile. Then a nokia 3210 (Christmas money) Nokia 3310 (Got given it) Nokia 3510i (Bought it at Christmas, 3 months later mum washed it.) Sony Ericcson T630 (Bought from wages) Samsung D500 - Current phone (Couldn't afford the ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã300 price tag, so got it free on Contract) So from a ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã35 motorola to a ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã300 samsung in 6 years, not bad. :P Notoriously Trollish. Current one is Motorola C650, got it round last Christmas with part of a pile of money my grandma gave me. It was only $200 AU which was a good price for a camera phone. If you don't see the problem with "every second 6 years old" owning a mobile then there is something wrong with you. I feel sorry for those spoilt little kids.
