not even close, dont even consider them to chin, mummies are way better because they will get you much much more xp/chin

I think he meant that you should choose zombie monkeys. Because you get less exp/chin not only will you buy more chins at mummies but you will use more pray pots, meaning that these are more expensive than chinning at ape atoll. So the answer to your question is no, not even close  .

EDIT: At level 78 range too? Not even close to considering chinning my friend, patience is a virtue.

mummies don't drop nearly enough to cover the cost and you get less xp per chin.

Its better to kill the skele monkies; while you will lose more money per hour, the greater xp per hour and xp per chin rates will save you money/time in the long run.

Orthodoxy is unconciousness

the only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.

You won't get more XP/chin at monkeys if you know what you're doing. Lining up 9 mummies to chin/ancient in chaos tunnels is very easy to do. And no, the drops won't even come close to paying for your chins, but you will pick up some blue charms in the process.

It's not as fast as the monkeys because you have to reposition the mummies every so often. But let's be honest - if you're making over 100k ranged XP per hour, it should be good enough. And you'll definitely save some money on the mummies, because they regularly drop rune squares and rune scimitars, and all kinds of alchable jewelry.

Get 80 slayer and chin nechs in the CT. You will get a high amount of crims an hour, and make about 1/2 of what you spend back. However, the xp/hour is slightly slower. As well, get 85 range before you chin, and use void+archer ring and unholy book+ranger boots/snakeskin boots and 10% prayer.

Or you could go to monkeys and get 250k exp or more an hour
