Getting back on my feet!

I'm here to ask what would be the best way to make some money with the skills provided, for i have just started playing runescape again after a long break, and I am unaware of the new techniques.

Right now i have about 400k in the bank, and random items that i kept before i left.

I am a member.

Thanks! :D

Avainsies, farming, slayer for cash and skills training.

Green dragons for pure cash, but you could always use the bones for 70 prayer.

Just don't end up doing grunt work.

I'm liking the sound of farming and Green dragons...

And when you say farming does that mean Ranarrs?

Nalsum-Signature.jpg

Yep, but I suggest holding off Farming for a few days. Ranarr seeds and herb prices are dropping like a rock. It will stabilize soon and then you should start. Otherwise you may lose some money.

Edit: Your hunter is decent. Try hunting swamp lizards and selling those (900 each) until your Hunter is 63, then go for Chins. Thats what im doing right now.

Btw, feel free to msg me (Equal Ibrium) in game, it seems our stats are quite familiar. :D

Thanks for the tip on Ranarrs! No offence but hunting just isn't my thing :\ and I added you :)

I'm going to try green drags right now and see how that goes, chaos tunnels or Wildy?

Edit: Keep the suggestions coming! :D

Ranarr and snapdragon aren't the best money makers 99% of the time. They are based off of luck more than anything else. Stick with herbs that are worth a decent amount (1k?) and have seed prices much lower. This guarantees that you will profit.

Edit: Do not do ranarr/snapdragon >.< there is a good chance you will lose money! Do green dragons in chaos tunnels btw

  • Author

No Ranarrs/Snaps and do chaos tunnels it is! haha thanks

Nalsum-Signature.jpg

With your stats, not sure if you can take the damage from the baby black dragons but you can try blocking them off etc in the chaos tunnels.

I'd runecraft laws and do the other stuff everyone has mentioned. You can also gather secondary heblore items like snape grass.

Thats weird, cause I have never lost money doing Ranarrs. Even at lvl 32.

1 seed = 40k

You WILL get atleast 5 herbs per seed given that you are wielding magic secateurs.

1 herb = 10k, so u make 50k.

so atleast a 10k profit per seed. And usually, I get 6-7 herbs per seed, which nets me a 100k profit every herb run.

Assuming none die of course  , helps if you've done My Arm's Big Adventure.

I do own a pair of Magic Seca's.

So it is Profitable?

Nalsum-Signature.jpg

It is but it is also a lot of investment, and if you get a touch of bad luck it may be disasterous. Toadflax have a very low death rate, cheap seeds, and are very profitable too, try farming those instead. Also try a slayer task or two ;) .

Without the my arms patch; I have never lost money on a farming run of 4 marigold patches and 4 snapdragons.

Orthodoxy is unconciousness

the only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.

Still, 40 farming is kinda low to start thinking about snaps :D .

Yes, use Supercompost and a magic seca's. With supercompost they won't die (if ever), just check on them every 10 minutes to see if they are and take about 5 plant cure with you. You should be good :) you can also do other methods of money while growing them, such as killing green drags and the other methods people have suggested.
