What's the best way to do this, without losing masses of money?

Air battlestaffs were good when i got to 85, if you are patient you can buy the supplies to break even. - and always buy your staffs from Zaff with Varrock Armour too...

Silver is making tiaras.

 

Its slow but cheap.

 

Bracelets are a good way of crafting from what I remember, but I think gem prices are high now, so do battlestaves.

I have been doing battlestaves; but the 8.8k exp per day from Zaff isn't really fast enough.

 

 

 

I have also charged my own orbs, then bought battlestaves and alched them, but charging them is a bit of a pain. Ah well, I guess I'll stick to that. Thanks :)

You can buy bstaffs off the ge, and sell the bstaffs you make there too. Saves the trouble of alching.

100 Bstaves per 4 hours on the ge, thus 600 per day.

 

You can get friends to pitch in and buy 600 a day or 100 every 4 hours too.

 

 

 

Green dhide bodies are also a good thing to do.

I made profit when i last trained my crafting. I bought silver bars max, crafted them into unstrung symbols, and sold those for max as well.

 

 

 

XP is almost as good as making tiaras, but you actually make profit!
