I mean, what happens if you were to take off your slayer helm/face mask for a few seconds to get back your hp? Like wouldn't they hit you rapidly at you'd die in a manner of seconds? Or maybe (this was in the chaos tunnels), people would just portal over to the zammy monks and use the guthans there to get their hp back up? A common method is wearing guthans plate+skirt with helm and spear in your inventory. When low on hp you use the portals to go to either barrows rats or zamorak monks to heal up. You'd die in a matter of seconds using Guthans. Trust me, I've learned from personal experience but was saved by my ring of life. I think gandorf is referring to the smokey well where you get hid rapid ones for removing a facemask, however, you wouldn't die if you did this.This means that it would be theoretically possible to dharok creatures like fire giants with prayer in the well. As for dust devils, you do need a helm. I get into the dust devils area (with my guthans and whip), and right before I make a click on one of the dusties, I realize.. wait a sec, dont these guys require a face mask?? TomcatLX Posted July 25, 2009 Share Posted July 25, 2009 Enhanced Excalibur is a reward for doing all your seers diary task. It heals you 20 hp and give you a defense boost with every special attack. I find that Enhanced Excalibur and some random food is all I ever need. Dust Devils drop alot of Ugthanki Kebabs so that should help replace lost food. No. The dust devils will rip you with a dharok helm. On the other hand, guthans can be very useful at the smoky well. The smoke won't instantly hurt you when you take off the face mask(slayer helm), so you have some time to use the spear and helm on nearby pyrefiends then quickly swtich back to face mask(slayer helm).
