ok, i have done barrows a few times and really enjoyed it, but i hvae never been able to get more than 2 runs through before i had to bank. i have not done any of the quests to bank faster, so banking takes a really long time. and i would like to make a table to keep my drops listed (say 100+ trips) so i will be doing this for a while. i just have a few questions.

 

 

 

should i get my magic up for a black sally?

 

 

 

how can i stay for longer than 2 runs through?

 

 

 

would it be work taking the time to do the quests for easier banking?

 

 

 

also...if you are suggesting a new set up i have 2-3m to spend

i have read the guide before, and i love it. but it really doesnt cover any of my questions...or atleast not on a personal level

Black sally is pretty much slayer dart, except cheaper. so if you're looking to save money the sally's worth it.

 

 

 

if you're looking to stay longer than two runs i'd buy some barrows armor and kill dharok, verac, ahrim, and karil with pray, and then guthan and torag without. you should burn 1-2 prayer pots doing this.

 

 

 

i just recently did the new quests, and got my con up to 50 for the canifis tele and altar in my house, and the time spent getting those is definately worth it.

 

 

 

as for a setup, i'd go with slayer dart, sally if you end up getting the levels, barrows top & bottom, neitiznot helm, whip / drag scimmy wep, glory / fury amulet, any cape, dragon boots, obsidian shield for the defense bonus and you should be more than fine.

Look at mah drops, im no barrows noob.

But you do need an outfit with a magic attack bonus, unlike proselyte. You can also use the melee style on karil and ahrim, or range for ahrim if you want.

 

 

 

For staying longer than 2 runs, just remember where you came in, and go back out after doing the chest run. It will probably show you the picture of the underground map in the guide Big_Stingman sent you. Just remember if your ladder was in the top left, top right, bottom left, or bottom right square, and go out that way. I can get like 8 runs in that way.

 

 

 

Dont do quests for banking. Well, you can if you want, but your better off getting 50 construction and getting a kharyll portal in your house (the one that goes to canafis) and banking there. Not much difference in time, and in your house you can recharge prayer etc.

 

 

 

But once you have the mage level, i suggest you use something along the lines of-

 

Glory/fury, mystic/ahrim robe top, some sort of prayer boosting robe bottom(initiate, monk, whatever), black salamander, skillcape/godcape, dragon boots, ring of whatever(doesnt make a difference), then bring some rune armour or something with you for tunnels.

 

Sort out your inventory from the guide Big sent you, i cba writing that out too.

wow...thanks. i just did ghots ahoy snce i dont want to get 50 con yet. so i guess ill get my mage up to 70 for the sally then get to work
