So I was thinking about the amulet I had on, and then it hit me. Why not have an Experience Amulet or Ring? There seems to be an amulet or ring for about every other aspect of this game. Why isn't there one for xp? Obviously there has to be some simple math to do in order to find out what multiplier would be most beneficial. It would be unfair to those who came before us, working hard on these skills. Let's take the genie for example. The genie pops up and gives us a choice for a certain amount of xp in a skill of our choice. The amount awarded to that skill depends on our lvl in that said skill (xp = lvl * 10). Have ye noticed how little that is? If ye are lvl 1 it only gives 10 xp, which certainly won't up a lvl unless ye are extremely close to lvl 2. Now JAGeX made it that way for a reason. Genies are supposed to be a fun little extra, to break the tedium of raising a skill. What it's not made to do is give free lvls in a skill to anyone who wants it. Ye experience amulet/ring seems to me just a way to get quick lvls without working for them. If JAGeX suddenly came out with these, think of how all the high lvled characters would feel if suddenly their effort means nothing to anyone. This would easily be an unbalanced addition to RS. I know you're trying to defend your idea, but it doesn't matter how minimal the amount is, IMO. Xp needs top be constant, i.e. X per demon killed or Y per armor smithed. Next time ye post something, think it through firs I have played this game for a long time and just recently came back to find it is TOTALLY different. If i came back to see somthing like this I would have cryed because of those hours and OH SO MANY hours it took me to get to a (now) measly 940 skill total (but that is without the 3 newest skills leveled up). I played RSC alot and the levels were very hard to get, 1 click maybe got you a fish, you had to swing at a tree ONCE for 1 log. This game is all afk super exp and a ring that gives more just makes it easier than it already is. Go grab some patience and runes and get your lvls.
