I died with karamja gloves in my invetory and I was back in time for my grave but the gloves where not there. So i guess they aren't retrieved able by death. I don't know about the other achievment items though.

 

 

 

I have karamja gloves 3.

If I recall, the Explorer's ring 3 also 'disappeared' from the ground upon a death I suffered. It may be that all diary items are only recoverable from the NPCs that give them out.

if you check the "lose on death" inventory in game, are they circled in white? nonrecoverable items are usually (but not always >.< ) indicated that way.

nope, the gloves are not circled in white.

I have added the following to all 3 karamja glove types:

 

"Note that, although the gloves are not circled in white in the "Items kept on death" screen, they are always lost upon death"
