Superheating could be but I rather not. So where is the best place to mine addy/mith?

It used to be the best single-handed crossbow, before the crossbow overhaul. Now it's about the same as an adamant crossbow (I think), and can only use the kebbit bolts... which are a hassle to obtain. I suggest just buying a Rune Crossbow, and broad-tipped bolts, which are only about 65gp each, and as strong as adamant bolts.

 

 

 

If you're contemplating whether to hunt the kebbits to get the bolt ammo, don't. There are much better things to train hunter with, and, as said above, the crossbow is easily beaten.

k are chins any better? never used them, my hunting lvl is 57 so can only hunt gray (if grays are not usefull, are red?)

Reds are probably the best range xp in the game, if used properly. However, if you're just going for casual ranging then I would recommend selling the chins you catch and buying a rune c'bow and broad bolts.

I've heard Lletya for Adamant and Mining guild for Mithril.

Why not just use broad bolts? and you can go to the mine south of draynor, there's a few mith and addy rocks there, generally empty.

because I hate buying stuff for skills when I don't need to... And I love mining and smithing. thanks for your reply though I think there are to less rocks there, but it could be it if the other possibilitys are to crowded.

I just searched the site and came across these interesting mines:

 

mining camp seems have one of the largest sources of addy and mith but is it worth it? can I bank quickly and come there again (I have acces to fairy rings, got quest cape so all possible ways to move myself are possible).

 

grand tree seems nice, and has gold rocks which I could mine too for smithing xp. while waiting for addy and mith to respawn.

 

isafadar arandar this is the place purew said, seems to have 4 rocks of addy and close to bank, but I need to world hop then.

 

hobogoblins mine has the most addy and mith ores but it is in the wildy, there aren't pkers anymore but there are revs now. But I have Jennica's ring so I could go to the Forgotten Cemetery and tele back to the wildernis volcano to bank. This should be the quickest way I guess? the only problem is then revenants.

no varrock armour 1 does not work, it doesn't mine mithril or addy twice, varrock armour 2 goes up to mith (I have varrock armour 2) but I have yet to find out if I am going to mine mithril or not

You could use a waka canoe to go to the pond in ~level 30 wildy and walk west from there. Or you could use the wildy teleports. There are three of them within reasonable walking distance of the hobgoblin mine.

ah ok gonna try that thanks [just got killed by a revenant... have to look out more :P]

seems like runescape goes lagging when I reach that teleport spot (because of the invading varrock quest, the footprints cause lagg or something like that...) Altough I tried the canoe one and that works well and I can wear a glory for gems :D thanks :)

yeah I noticed, I think I am going to kill those revs (so taking whip with me) if they aren't to high... just for loot (got the ring that increases the loot from them) but I didn't need many so I will continue mining some other time
